So many little touches that added to beauty of the room. Arrived in the sun and all the hanging baskets were beautiful. Staff had a lovely warm welcome. Very happy to answer questions and instructed about parking rules outside on the on road parking. My room was on ground floor with door out onto beer garden. Also seating outside the door which was a nice touch. The function had taken over the whole hotel which meant that we couldn't access our garden room easily with out having to negotiate the guest of the function to allow us to get to the door to the room. Also due to the function there was a feeling of lack of privacy, plus the noise level was excessive directly outside of the room. The hotel does not do breakfast, which was disappointing.. Parking was either on street which, was limited to 2 hours with no return until the end of the day, or a pay and display at the rear that was shared with the local supermarket so was quite busy.
