The home is clean and has a well stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans and regular items. The outdoor tables were perfect for us - we ate all of our meals outside! The access to the beach was amazing since you can walk out straight from the pool area. Surfside in general was very clean and felt safe. I highly recommend going here!! The location of the property was exactly where we wanted to be. The days it was sunny the sunrise over the ocean was breathtaking. The house itself was exactly as pictured. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, dishes, pots, and pans. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Laundry was easily accessible and with 4 kids, we needed it. Due to the time of year we stayed we did not use the pool but would definitely use it in the future. Was an easy walk to the pier and restaurants. Home was comfortable and our family enjoyed the beach and pool. Home only came with bed linens and bathroom towels. Since we flew in we had to buy beach chairs and umbrellas. They were not listed on the rental agreement but since the last 3 rental came fully equipped I just assumed this home did also. The main bedroom bathroom could be a problem for some with mobility issues. It was a combination shower/tub set up with a very high wall. Getting in and out was difficult. The manager responded quickly when we had an issue with the AC, and they repaired it the same day. Our kids loved the pool, and the home was very comfortable. The only issues we had with the home were how undersupplied it was. Each bathroom only had one roll of TP (even at a hotel there’s at least two). No spare garbage bags, just one paper towel roll, one dishwasher pack, no soap or shampoo/conditioner travel packs, etc. So unfortunately in addition to going to get food, we had to resupply the home. We tried to leave some extra for the next guests, so they didn’t have to race to the store. Also no beach chairs, so purchased those as well. We took plenty of pictures of the sunrise. The house had many amenities but there were some minor difficulties with the refrigerator and the dryer. We could not control the temperature of the freezer & refrigerator but all of our food was well kept. The dryer pre-programmed cycles did not work. Only the Time Dry setting worked. Also the fireplace did not work. A working fireplace would have been a nice-to-have on the cold nights and mornings. We had really bad weather on Sunday, 12/17\. There was a lot of rain and very windy. The waves were huge and the surf came up to the edge of the bridge walk. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. Thank you. ##### Rocco F. This home was well appointed. We tend to cook in a lot with such a large group. The kitchen met all of our needs. Everyone was comfortable in their individual spaces. I do think it’s important to note that the primary en suite bathroom shower access may be difficult for those with mobility issues, as you must step over the side of the jetted tub to get into the shower. But- there is a more traditional tub, shower combo in the second upstairs bathroom just steps away from the primary bedroom. Private access to the beach from this home was perfect. The beach in this area was not overcrowded…plenty of space for chairs, umbrellas, tents behind and a lot of space for kids to play. The view from the decks was lovely. Having a private pool is something that our family enjoys when renting a home at the beach. This pool was a nice size for the capacity of the home. Having some shade around the pool from the umbrella and palms was helpful as well. You may just need to clean out some blowing debris from the palms here and there during your stay. It was clean upon our arrival and it’s a great location. The pool is good and we loved the easy access to the beach. There were several floating for the pool and some sand toys. There’s a shower right outside of the pool area which is great as well. They had a good selection of cookware, a little worn but that is to be expected with rental properties. A few minor issues: Landscaping/pool deck/under the house could use a little refreshing. Some of the rugs were really worn and messy. The beds around the trees, under steps, under the steps/bridge going to the beach, all could use some cleanup. Also the table at the pool is a bit rusted and could probably do with replacing. I’m being really picky here but I was also disappointed that they don’t leave so much as a salt shaker in the kitchen. I don’t expect a gourmet selection but basic seasonings and some oil or spray (just whatever previous guests leave, really) would be nice. But it would seem that they completely clean out the cupboards between guests. Lastly, asking the guests to sweep the floors before checkout is a little bit much in my opinion. Obviously don’t leave a giant mess but aside from that I don’t expect to have to clean. All that aside, this is a still a good, clean property and makes for a wonderful beach vacation! ##### Kelly T.
