Located in the highly desirable gated community of Holden Beach West, this 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath home is the reason that everyone in your group will be saying "It Was A Good Day!" Breathtaking panoramic views surround this classy and contemporary home! Resting on the marsh, from the back decks you will love watching all of the boats cruise the Intracoastal Waterway, fantastic views of the Shallotte River, and you might even catch a glimpse of wildlife in the marshlands. From the covered front porch, you will enjoy captivating unobstructed views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean! With the public beach access being only steps away, you will have your toes in the sand in just a matter of minutes! After your day on the beach, rinse away the sand and sea in the outdoor shower, complete with hot & cold water. On the 1st level you will discover an open concept living room/kitchen/dining room combination with a beautiful vaulted ceiling in the living room, beautiful custom maple hardwood flooring, along with stainless appliances, gas range, and a large center island in the kitchen. The view of the marsh and the ocean were great. Proximity to the beach access was also great. One set of sheets was dirty and one bathroom sink was dirty. We communicated these to the host and corrected the problems. FYI, we could not get the ceiling fan in the den to work…tried the remote with and without light switches and got no response. Also, the stove hood fan and light did not work when we were cooking. I hope you can get those fixed. Other than that, the house was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable for our group. ##### Catherine P. Holden Beach’s dunes are deep so it’s a little haul no matter what but the access was close and easy. Loved all of the porches with the ocean and marsh views. The layout and decor is very attractive and comfortable. Each bedroom is ensuite and private from the others. The kitchen is very well outfitted with small appliances, pots and pans, etc. The large center island provides plenty of space for meal preparations. There are plenty of marsh and ocean views from the porches on each side of the house. The west end of the island is quiet with a beautiful beach. Beach access is just steps away from the property.
