With enough room for the entire family to gather together making sweet memories, this charming and inviting duplex is newly remodeled, and will soon be your new favorite place to vacation in Holden Beach! Unwind and relax by the 24'x12' private saltwater swimming pool, or enjoy unobstructed views of the glistening Atlantic ocean from both upper and lower level front decks. Located on Brunswick Avenue West, you will be within a few minutes walking distance to the heart of Holden Beach. You will have quick and easy beach access using a cut-thru path leading to the beach, with a total walking distance of 1200 feet from the front door to the pristine sandy shores of Holden Beach. After your day on the beach, wash away the sand and sea in the outdoor shower, complete with hot and cold water. "Family Therapy" offers 4 bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths. On the first level you will discover a beautiful open-concept living room/dining room/kitchen combination, with all new stainless steel appliances and modern granite counter tops in the kitchen. Also located on the first level is the laundry room with full size washer & dryer, a bright and cheerful sunroom, half bath, and master bedroom with a queen bed, and a uniquely chic private bathroom including a double vanity sink, stand alone shower, jetted tub, new tiles and new lighting. On the second level you will find a cozy sitting room with a small deck overlooking the pool area, as well as 2 bedrooms - each with a queen bed, sharing the hall bathroom. The full bathroom on this level has a walk-in shower (no tub), and has a hallway entry door, as well as a private entry door from bedroom #3\. Bedroom #4 is located in the third level bonus room, with access using the unique spiral staircase. This room is great for children, offering 1 set of twin/full bunk beds and 1 set of twin/twin bunk beds. Bedroom #4 shares the second level hallway bathroom. This charming and inviting duplex is sure to please everyone, including the family dog(s)! Come join us for some fun in the sun in beautiful Holden Beach! Swimming pools are open each year from April 15 thru October 15\. Pool heater may be available upon advance request only, with pool heating fee of $400 plus tax, paid in advance. Pools are cleaned prior to arrival, and also cleaned mid-stay for 7 night rentals. Pet Friendly: $250 Non-refundable pet fee is required and is limited to a single dog up to 50 pounds. The house was wonderful. There was a sleeper sofa that we would have loved to use, however it was locked and we were not able to utilize it. Other than that, great stay. ##### Kim C. However, I must take this time to inform you of a couple of issues we encountered during our stay. 1\. When we arrived, we were greeted by a large amount of hornet's swarming the front of the house. Not being from North Carolina and scared to exit the car naturally we called the property management company to see if they could send someone to check it out. Unfortunately, no one came so we called again. The second time someone came but they only drove by and did not come out to talk to us. Finally, we had to call a third time to get someone to come check it out. Everything we fine after that and we were told the hornets were safe and would not harm us, but it was very frustrating it took that many calls to get someone out. 2\. The patio furniture is old and not really "usable". All of the lawn chairs were cracked and would crack more when you would sit on them. Not until the end of the stay did someone come out to check on the rotting wood around the pool... and took the broken chairs away. I wish there was a little more attention to the details when the home is being serviced between guests, that could have easily been caught! 3\. We were short a set of queen sheets for one of the beds. Thankfully, we packed an air mattress and a set of sheets for that just in case, so we were able to make that work on our own. Finally, the mini fridge in the garage clearly had not been checked and there was month old shrimp left in it... again attention to detail is so important when it comes to things like this. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and having our entire family together. Thanks for reading. ##### Michael V. Our granddaughters are 4 and 8, and they spent so much time every day in the pool. It was the perfect size for them to swim in. The house is well laid out, and every space is thoughtfully decorated and used. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and we appreciated being allowed to use the wagon and beach chairs on the beach. We highly recommend this location! It was close to the beach, but much quieter than if we had been one street over on Ocean Blvd. ##### Joni A. It smelled horrible! I find out that they pick up Sat. and Tuesday. ( evidently did not make it in time on Sat, even though it says to put it out Friday night) There were maggots crawling all over the outside of can. When they dumped it Tuesday I had to pull the water hose out front to rinse off cans, before bringing it back, because I could not touch the cans for all the maggots. Then the neighbors next door came out and starting yelling at me not to rinse the cans in front of the properties. It really put a damper on our trip. Then on day six, the steps at inside of pool where covered in green algae.( the pool woman came, but she did not do the steps) It really is a nice place inside. A shame that this happened and put a damper on things for us all. ##### Diane R. Séjour de 7 nuits en septembre 2021 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Kali T. 17 mai 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Wonderful getaway We had a 7 and 1 year old with us and the home had a pack n play, high chair and a baby gate for our convenience. The house was very clean. Check in/out was a breeze. The pool was used all day every day by the kids. The only issue we had was the deck was slightly dry rotted in one area and broke, but i contacted the management and was emailed back right away about someone coming to fix it. We have never rented a duplex and we’re a little worried about being to loud & vice versa, absolutely no issues at all! The location is great as well. We will definitely be coming back to stay! ##### Kali T.
