Nice restaurant. All of the staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved hiking to the falls. Bathroom was dated, but shower had full pressure and was plenty hot. Honestly, it’s a rustic place, so didn’t expect fancy. Beds felt new and were really comfortable. Staff provided eco logs and matches. The only dining option for 30 minutes drive is the resort restaurant. The cabin quarters were cramped and walls quite thin, could hear adjoining cabins movements and tv quite well. The Wi-if is very very bad. The pathway to the cabins is nice looking for an outdoorsy feel but you can’t drag your suitcase over the uneven randomly placed flagstone and it is also something to be careful on for us older folks. Additionally, not having a heater in the room can make for a chilly and uncomfortable experience, especially during colder months. In this situation, having only a fireplace as a source of warmth may not provide enough heat to keep the room cozy and comfortable. Depending on the size of the room and the efficiency of the fireplace, you may find yourself feeling quite chilly and unable to fully relax and enjoy your time in the space.
