The Space: With an elevated position overlooking the Point Cartwright beachfront, this generously sized family home offers stunning ocean views and refreshing sea breezes across all three levels. Start your mornings with a coffee on the deck as the sun rises over the water, or simply stroll across the road for a walk along the golden sand. From the moment you arrive, it’s all about ease—settle in, pour a complimentary drink, and let the view do the rest. The ground floor offers a relaxed space to unwind, featuring a casual living/rumpus room with a large TV and two comfortable bedrooms—ideal for giving everyone a little extra space and privacy. The Neighborhood: Point Cartwright is an un-patrolled beach situated at the base of the headland at the very northern end of Kawana beach. It’s popular with locals for its surf break. The high cliffs of the coastal headland reserve provide spectacular views of Mooloolaba, the Mooloolah River mouth, Mount Coolum to the north and Kawana Beach to the south. It’s often possible to spot migratory humpback whales, turtles, and ships entering and leaving the Port of Brisbane. Grassy slopes provide excellent locations for family picnics, and toilet facilities are available at the Pacific Boulevard entrance to the reserve. La Balsa Park, at the end of Harbour Drive and on the edge of the Mooloolah River is the perfect place for the kids to play and the adults to sit and enjoy the sea breeze. Many visitors and residents enjoy fishing from the banks of the Mooloolah River or the bund wall, which are accessible from the Harbour Drive entrance and the reserve. Getting Around: Once you have arrived, everything can be accessed via a short walk. The northern end of the Kawana beach stretch is directly across the road. The closest patrolled beach is Kawana, less than a 5-minute drive down the road (or Mooloolaba Beach is only 10 mins north). The stunning Pt Cartright headland and La'Balsa park are a 5-minute walk towards the headland. The Kawana shopping centre is also within a 10-minute walk. Uber rides and taxis are easy to get from this location. The closest bus stop is only a few minutes walk back towards Kawana shopping world. If you have your own car, there is ample space to park on the premises or on the road directly in front of the house. We ask that you please clean up after them thoroughly. This includes inside and outside areas. Please keep your pets off the furniture and especially off the beds. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, large home. The pool was a hit.
