A great place for us and our pets
Hot water, soft towels, and a comfy bed. Easy access to the all the nearby locations.

Great for a quick stop over night
Hot water and warm beds, lots of towels and bedding was clean. Comfy couch! We only stayed one night but we were very happy. Thanks for having us!

Disappointed.
Photos were misrepresented on house. There was tyvek paper on one side and a section that was “under construction”. There were loose wires hanging out and on the ground. This was not part of the listing. The listing said there was a fenced in back yard. Back yard was not fenced in as described on listing. Only one side had fence and the other a temporary fence with rocks stacked toward the back and no gate. Owner lives on property and that was not mentioned in listing. Gerard (owner) told us after we checked in that he may be doing construction on the property right next to the house we were staying at on other side of temporary fence. During stay we lost water and heat for a day. Gerard (owner) would show up in back yard unannounced to mow lawn and do various landscaping activities. We also asked for a second key as we were only provided one. Owner said he would get and did not. Washing machine broke part way through stay. Dirty towels stuffed in between the air conditioners. The home had unsafe outlets located in it and nails sticking out of woodwork. We came back on 9/29 to find the back yard had been completely loamed over and fenced off, so we no longer had access to it without telling us. When I confronted owner about it, he said he thought he had mentioned it. He did not. 10/1 I received a text from the owner in the morning stating my dogs were barking nonstop. My dogs spent the night at my husbands parents house on 9/30 because we had an early commitment on 10/1 hosting a bike race. The dogs were not at the house on 10/1, so his assumption was not correct. I responded to the owner with this message and he didn’t acknowledge it until after a second attempt. More than once Gerard would go onto the property that rental is on and scan to see if we picked up dog poop. I would receive multiple texts from him if he happened to find one. There was no notice given that would be coming onto the property that the rental was on. At the time we left the property on October 8th we had picked up the yard fully.

Our getaway
Gerard’s little guest house was perfect for us and our little furbaby! Well supplied and any questions we had, Gerard immediately got back to us. It sets back off the main road so lots of privacy. Perfect location for us in proximity to friends & family. Would stay again!

Perfect for us and our pups
We felt right at home and our pups did too. The house was the perfect size and close to different stores and restaurants. We enjoyed a walk on the rail trail nearby. Loved it!

Property was very clean. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable. There was lots of streaming apps to watch. Property owner was very prompt and flexible. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Experience and Hospitality
We had a great time at Gerard place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and although it’s a lively neighborhood the apartment is very quiet! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

Property looks good in photos, not fully stocked and what the do have is cheap. Horrible.
House had bad accommodations kitchen needs more cooking items, better pans, baking ext. Couches are very old and uncomfortable sink in same with the beds. The bedrooms are so hot I had to sleep with my windows open in the middle of winter but froze trying take a shower bc the bathroom was so cold. Workers plowing the drive way woke the whole house up at 730am on a Sunday telling us we had to move our cars. The following morning at 7 am a exterminator walked right into the house I heard someone at door walking in scared me I jumped out of bed in my underwear and the guy was still trying to walk through our house like he owed it with snow melting off his boots everywhere. He only left when I told him to get out. The owner kept making rules up that are not posted on VRBO threatening us and after 3 weeks of staying there forced us out in the middle of a severe snow storm. This owner has no right to be on VRBO.
