Spend summer days barbecuing out on the deck, watching the kids splash in the pool next door, and taking in beautiful views of the mountains that surround Sun Valley. You'll also have access to the Elkhorn amenities, which include two more outdoor pools, saunas, and hot tubs. On summer days, you can play tennis and golf with your loved ones; come winter, you can ski the fantastic nearby slopes of Dollar Mountain and Bald Mountain. What's nearby: Dollar Mountain is a little over a mile west, offering great beginner slopes and a terrain park. For the more advanced skier, Bald Mountain is four miles west. In the summer, when you're not swimming or golfing, you can book a paragliding trip, go mountain biking, or enjoy a nice hike. The local bus system even has a stop at the end of Horseshoe Drive and Elkhorn Road to get you around town with ease. Sun Valley is two miles northwest and downtown Ketchum is three miles west, with much to offer in dining, shopping, and entertainment of all kinds. Due to construction, there will be no pool or hot tub access during the 2020 and 2021 winter seasons. Golf and tennis are closed from November 1 through May 1, this is weather dependent and could be extended or shortened at the discretion of the association with/without cause or notice. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Ski shuttle details: Bus to Ketchum, Sun Valley, or either ski mountain comes by below the Bluff Condo Complex on Elkhorn Road. Use path descending to lower road level from pool complex for quickest access. It is a .5 mile walk around Horseshoe Rd to get to the bus stop in the winter. We really enjoyed this unit a lot. 12 years of staying in Elkhorn for family visits, thsi unit was great The disappointment was inability to talk with a person on property management for simple fixes. The LG range/stove was not fully installed (ie plugged in). Via suggested text communications to VACASA - we even sent photos of beaker boxes to resolve. It was clear the appliance was not getting power & for two 74 year old customers , we no longer are willing to pull appliance out to confirm our suspicions After several vague text responses from VACASA - we called a local electrician who confirmed our suspicion & plugged the range in. We were a bit concerned about seating for 4 adults, but the wicker chairs turned out to be large and comfortable. We enjoyed shopping at the nearby Atkinson's Market and cooking on the spotless grill. The location just steps from the community pool was a nice surprise. We enjoyed the hot tub on the cool evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with extra supplies, making cooking in that much easier. This condo is super cute and really makes you feel like you are in Idaho with all of the Sun Valley pictures in it. While it's not a huge space, the layout is perfect and the wall of windows toward the back of the unit, with amazing views of Dollar Mountain and the town, makes it easily big enough for friends or family. Parking was easy and so was laundry if you need it. And the hot tub and pool were just a few steps away. We had never been there so we enjoyed exploring a new place. This listing is mostly accurate except a couple of the window coverings must have broken so they had replaced them with a very cheap, paper plate like material which was terrible.
