The house is 5 minutes of departure by boat to the island, 15 minutes from the village of Iseo and 25 minutes from the city of Brescia and 60 minutes from Milan. The villa is situated on a hill terraced facing Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe. From the terrace and the garden of the house the view embraces fully the Iseo lake to Mount Guglielmo. The famous Bulgarian artist Vladimirov YAVACHEV CHRISTO, famous for its "packaging" of buildings and monuments in the world, will build a floating yellow bridge in the mirror of the lake between Sulzano and Monte Isola, viable and visible from our home for 16 days From the day 18 of June 2016. June 13 will begin the installation work. It will create a pedestrian path consists of three kilometers wide pillars sixteen meters high and two feet of the edges degrading. Grande terrasse couverte. Bonne literie et cuisine très bien équipée.Douche au rez-de-chaussé trop petite et mériterait un peu de rénovation. Avec des enfants un bas âge, il faudrait une barrière pour les escaliers menant aux pièces du rez-de-chaussé inférieure. It is a close drive from all the scenic Northern Italy. Train station is in walking distance for those who want train it. I am a cyclist and loved circumnavigating Lake Iseo. Took 2 hours. There was an infestation of ants, the house was very cold and you can’t adjust the heating - it’s controlled remotely by the owner. Sulzano is not really walking distance and there’s not much in the town anyway. The upstairs shower is so tiny it’s hard to move. The furniture is dated. The whole place needs a good refurbishment . Don’t be misled by favourable reviews. We actually left part way through our 2 week booking as we couldn’t stay any longer. The town of Iseo would be a better option. ##### Chris S. The location above Lake Iseo and overlooking Monte Isola ( unobstructed) is perfect. On a clear day we see the southern part of the lake and northwards, the beginning of Val Camonica leading into the Italian Alps. Lake Iseo is a much smaller lake than its more famous neighbours but it is the perfect base to see nearby towns without too much difficulty, it is far less busy and less crowded than Lake Como for example. The view from the house provides plenty of interest. The house is extremely comfortable and has stylish decor and is very well equipped especially the kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious. The outside verandah is large is perfect for relaxation and meals. There is a large surrounding private garden which provides peace and tranquillity. There is off street parking. Heating is very well regulated (central heating) and there is an open fireplace as well. Maria is a wonderful host , and was very accommodating and helpful. The view is absolutely amazing and one we will all remember for a very long time. My sister has done lots of travelling around the world and she said The Taj Mahal in Indian is the same feeling which took her breath away, as the view at your accommodation gave her the same feeling!!! Your accommodation had everything which we needed. It was a home from home feeling with lots of extra bits which were very useful. Séjour de 12 nuits en juin 2018 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Catherine L. 9 avr. 2018 #### Breathtaking views and comfortable house We spent the Easter week in Maria's house. The views were absolutely outstanding, it kept changing according to the weather and the time of day. We had a glorious Easter lunch in the sunshine on the grass area. It was a bit too cold for the terrasse, but I can imagine one would spend a huge amount of time on it in the summer months. The house itself was very comfortable and the kitchen is super well equipped. There are lots of supermarket to choose from (one walking distance), a great pastry shop and a pizza counter that makes paper thin, melt in the mouth pizzas. We enjoyed spending time in the house (the kids loved playing in the garden, looking for bugs and lizards and jumping off low walls) but it was also a good base to visit the surroundings. We went to Brescia, Verona, Sirmione, Lake Garda. Boat hopping on lake Iseo was also good fun. We would happily come back and recommend it to anyone wanting to spend time gazing at the view, sketching, reading or just slowing down in beautiful surroundings. ##### Catherine L.
