We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the tide go in and out. We even saw some seals one day. The house had everything that you need. Bar Harbor was about 40 minutes away which was not to bad. It is a remote, tranquil property where you can get away and totally relax. You are at least 45 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It came fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and cozy. The kids loved the giant telescope and going down to the water every morning to see what treasures they could find. The cabin included all of the necessary essentials and we woke up to the most fabulous waterfront view! The property is tucked into the woods and very peacefully secluded.
