The building is starting to show its age. The villa is beautiful with a lap pool looking out onto the Bali Sea. It is located in Ketewel and renting a car is a necessity. There are no restaurants or stores within walking distance. The staff are very helpful and can communicate in basic English. Breakfast is served from 7 to 8am with a limited menu, however it is good. We stayed for three nights and were the only customers there. There are a lot of villas in this area and all seemed empty. Most people seen were fishermen talking their boats out in the morning for a few hours. The staff moved us to another room after the first night because the air conditioning was not working in the first room. The property is difficult to find, especially at night since there are very limited street signs. The place is beautiful and completely private and quiet compare to surrounding at kuta area. Bedroom is big with private pool, dining and living room area. It is about 35 minutes drive from the airport. It's good for those planning to visit Sanur, ubud area. Bali zoo is just 10 mins drive. The only problem for us was the villa is surrounded by village and need to call taxi for a 5-10 minutes drive to a nearby restaurants to eat. Staff was always helpful and service was good. The hotel was nice but far away from everything. Taxi drivers didn't know where it was and wanted to charge us 50$ for a ride from the city at night. There is nothing around, not even a place to buy food, the beach is not nice there either. So, good choice for people looking for silence ans willing to stay at the hotel all day sunbathing by the pool.
