This classically designed three bedroom two and a half bath log cabin is located right in the Valle Crucis area and just minutes from the Original Mast Store, Mast Store Annex and beautiful Valle Crucis Community Park. You'll love the soft mountain views and usable yard, a rare commodity in the mountains. Great decks, wood burning fireplace, WiFi, BBQ grill, central AC, 4 TV's, dog friendly and open floor plan with lots of windows. On the main floor you'll find the Family room with Vaulted ceiling, wood burning fireplace, kitchen, dining room and a half bath. Also on the main floor is the primary King bedroom with private full bath. Upstairs are two Queen bedrooms with shared full bath. When you add all the features and central location it makes this cabin a must stay. Come on up to Fox's Lair! \- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided. \- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am \- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. \- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. \- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. \- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. \- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. \- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. \- This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. \- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or with a week's notice by reaching out to our team. You'll receive two wrapped, kiln-dried packs and a firestarter for $25 plus taxes. Any number of these bundles may be ordered. \- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Located near Boone and Blowing Rock so you were within 15 - 20 minutes to activities and restaurants. The only real negative is all of the mattresses were FIRM!!! I spent the last night on the sofa. Spent hours each day and the view is like being in a tree house. Filled the humming bird feeder and those birds were there every 3-5 minutes. Filled the bird feeder and loved the cardinals and blue jays. Just communing with nature. It is a bit distance from the must see sites but that did not have a negative impact on our stay. It had the look and feel of exactly what you would picture out of a Field and Steam magazine. Made for a great Christmas break. Everything was available that was needed and everything worked perfectly. The layout is such that you can spread out and everybody is not on top of each other but yet it still feels warm and cozy. We had five adults, an infant and a two-year-old and there was more than plenty of space. Convenient to get to town and the slopes but still remote enough that you don’t feel like you’re staying in town. We will definitely will be back and will specifically request this cabin! They have done a great job with it! ##### Johnny C. Séjour de 4 nuits en décembre 2021 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Tracy H. 15 déc. 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Very pleasant cabin The check in process was simple, however I would have preferred code access to door lock as many previous rentals we’ve stayed at instead of going to an office to pick up keys. But they did allow a check in 1 1/2 hours before normal time so… The cabin was more adult appropriate, as there were no games, books, or anything for children to do. We had our grandchildren ages 4 and 9 with us, and no yard was appropriate for outside play. The cabin was comfortable, the fireplace was the most enjoyed feature. Open floor plan was wonderful. We would concider renting again, however not with children. ##### Tracy H. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. We observed wildlife like deer, foxes and many birds from the huge deck. This cabin is so close to so many attractions and right around the corner from the Mast General Store. The interior layout is so open and accomodating. We had a minor issue we noted on the evaluation form and turned in with our keys at checkout. We said we would call to explain, but the office reached out to us with concern before we even called. They were genuinely concerned and willing to hear any suggestions to make their customers comfortable. The cabin was clean, mattresses were great, kitchen was stocked well, and the deck was awesome. We had family from several states come together and it was a trip we’ll always remember. Overall great experience! ##### Cheryl L. All of it needs to be replaced in order for someone to have a relaxing visit. Otherwise, we enjoyed the home and being with family. ##### Georgia F.
