« The farmhouse was perfect for our 3-night stay. The house is located in a beautiful wide-open field. The birds visited us in the mornings, and deer and turkeys roamed the fields in the evening. The king bed in the master was amazingly comfortable, with top-qualith linens. Everything was maintained perfectly. The kitchen was well-stacked with everything we needed. Starlink wifi worked very well. Highly recommend this place. I wish we could have stayed longer. »

« Our host Tina and her husband Gary sacrificed quite a lot to make this trip happen for me and my family. Long story short, it was perfect. The weather was perfect and we witnessed the most perfect total eclipse IN THE LINE OF TOTALITY!! We sat in Tina and Gary’s back pasture near a pond. It’s crazy, the day before it rained, then eclipse day woke up sunny and stayed that way till later that night. Since after the eclipse it’s been April showers bring May flowers since!! « It was an absolute honor to stay in a family farmhouse with a long history and rich tradition. It was a blast from the past. It has a beautiful view across the valley in the back yard and pet a cow while you’re back there. If you’re in town for a a week or weekend on Lake Shelbyville this is a great place to stay. « The cabin is quaint and designed like a tiny house. There was a queen bed in the loft. The stairs to the loft were actual stairs. It was easy to climb up. The ceiling was high in the miiddle so we could stand. The bathroom had a good shower without walls. So plenty of room. I think it would be beautiful in the fall. Cicadas were singing and flying around. We had a good time. We would recommend it to others. »

« We boat on Lake Shelbyville and the property is very close to a ramp. House was nice. Kitchen was very well stocked! Several extra amenities! The garage was an A+ with the extra fridge, grill and utensils. The only thing that I could pick at was the lawn desperately needed to be cut and the firepit was in a weird location on the side of the driveway. Nothing to not want to stay again! I would definitely return!! »
