The food was incredible, they use fresh local ingredients mostly from their farm across the street, the best food we experienced during our 2 1/2 week trip to Chile. "Since the change in administration I love this hotel Puerta del Sur. Friendly and respectful staff, good amenities, amazing views of the river and Cau-cau bridge. Good breakfast. No spiders and mosquitoes as it was in the past. I fully recommend this one special when you book thru Expedia, much cheaper than by the front desk."

"Definitely not worth all of the hype. Poor service whenever we went to the bars or restaurant (staff never available) Breakfast hours are way too short to serve all the people they have staying. We were told one of the pools was strictly for adults yet children and families allowed in. I would not visit this place again."
