« This was a great spot to be near all the local site seeing spots. It’s near the main rail lines and walking distance to one of the best burger joints (Dragon Burger) I’ve experienced in all of Japan. My only critique was finding hair in the beds and extra futons we used to watch movies in the beautiful lofted area. Other than that, the owners were great at communicating and the property was awesome! »

« 일본의 숙소답지 않게 크기가 커서 편안하데 이용했습니다. 사진에서는 알기 어려웠지만 복층구조로 거실은 1층에 잠자는 곳은 2층에 있어서 분리되어 있어 좋았어요. 리모델링 한지 얼마 되지않아서 시설이 전부 깨끗했고 에어컨 키면 금방 시원해져서 좋았습니다. 위치가 조금 애매해서 번화가까지 나가는데 계속 버스를 타고 다녔습니다. 버스 원데이 패스가 필수입니다. 근처에 fresco 마트 있어서 좋았고 편의점은 바로 근처는 없고 도보 3~4분 정도 거리가 있습니다. 온수가 안나와서 연락했는데 빠르게 고쳐주셔서 괜찮았습니다. 위치만 괜찮가면 가성비 좋은 숙소입니다. 가족단위 추천드립니다! »

« What a beautiful little house! It was lovely to have an authentic Japanese home base to return to every day. The house is in a residential area away from the city centre, so it's extremely quiet and relaxed. We felt completely safe and secure in the house, and I was very comfortable even without the aircon - the house was surprisingly insulated. « I loved the vibe this property had. Overall the home was very clean and tucked away in a pretty quiet area. AC units in every room were very handy, and I liked how the tub area was seperate from the toilets. The only complaints I have are minor gripes, not a big deal, but I'll mention them here. The toilet room is pretty small, although that is kind of the norm for Japan. My legs are pretty long so it was difficult sitting in there. There was a slight musty smell when we first got home each...

« Beautiful and gorgeous Machiya. 20 min walk to Gion district and amazing food. Host was very kind to provide detailed instructions, please be sure to use them as the Google maps location can be confusing. Rooms were beautifully furnished and kitchen was well supplied. Definitely would stay again! »

« The house was everything i wanted but not so accesible to the train station, closer to the bus station but kinda hard to figure bus rides for me. I would stay here again esp if i was with a group, it makes tou really fell like youre in Kyoto, my favorite part is the ofuro, the bath on its own is so great and the jap garden. »
