"Loved staying here for the cultural experience. It is very authentic - it makes you feel as if you have travelled back in time! There is a beautiful little garden and the o-furo is very relaxing. The futons were top quality super comfy too! The land-lady is very lovely and a wonderful host. We followed the hotel.com gps google map directions that were way off target...fortunately...after door knocking for some time...some kind locals showed us where to go...an English sign on the property would have also assisted our compass. Otherwise...the owner is a gentleman...a kind host...happy to help. Futons are paper thin...and an extra toilet might alleviate queues when ur busting first thing in the morning. Location is superb...near the railway station for all...

"What a beautiful little house! It was lovely to have an authentic Japanese home base to return to every day. The house is in a residential area away from the city centre, so it's extremely quiet and relaxed. We felt completely safe and secure in the house, and I was very comfortable even without the aircon - the house was surprisingly insulated.
