A tall privacy fence separates the backyard from this cliff but please be mindful. No climbing on fence or deck railing\*\*\*. It was the perfect size for 3 couples (and 3 young children); we had plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen was well equipped for our Superbowl food prep. FYI- The upstairs "bedroom" is actually a loft that isn't enclosed. The downstairs bedrooms were pretty sound proof from the upstairs so we put the babies in those rooms. The hot tub was a nice addition. We did have a small car that had trouble driving up the road to the cabin when it was icy; we had to use 4wd with our truck. It was easy to drive into Deadwood and to Terry Peak for outings. Overall, a great place to stay and we would stay again! ##### Danielle H. It is very tastefully decorated. The house was exceptionally neat and clean when we arrived. We very much enjoyed our visit there. We do have some suggestions The kitchen was missing some items which would have made cooking easier: (1) there was no measuring cup; (2) No measuring spoons; (3) No cutting board; (4) No sharp cutting knives; (5) No pot large enough for soup or pasta for more than 4 people; (6) The knobs on the kitchen stove were loose and did not correspond to the correct settings; and (6) there was no detergent for the washing machine. The property was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We had a few hiccups: a tv was not working when we arrived ( But was replaced the very next day) and the garage lock was not programmed with my code, locking us out on day two after sight seeing (also taken care of quickly). Overall, we loved the house and the location. We loved sitting on the deck at night with the gas fireplace. The kids loved the hot tub. There were deer in the yard during early morning hours. The views and privacy were great. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. The shower and tub in upstairs bathroom were awesome. The beds were comfy. The only problem we had was the outdoor gas fireplace. (We couldn't get it lit) Also I'm not sure where the leak is but it smells like gas really bad by the door to patio. So we did not use the grill. Otherwise everything else was awesome. Thanks for helping us celebrate our anniversary. 🙂 We would definitely stay again. ##### Catherine S.
