The porch is a sublime place to listen to the sounds of the forest without worrying about clouds of mosquitoes or biting flies. We had a great time and everything was as advertised. Single bathroom and lack of a dishwasher may limit the enjoyment for some parties, but suited us just fine. This was the perfect cabin for a few friends to be together for the wedding weekend. There were mosquitos, but they were well stocked with extra bug spray. We enjoyed the grill, as well as, the kitchen. The bathroom was a little small, but functional. The living spaces and the screen porch were bigger than expected based on the photos which was a pleasant surprise. Chad communicated well and was a wonderful host. We had great weather most of the weekend, except for the first night we were there. Thankfully, the screened porch kept us dry and was perfect for hanging out. The cabin had everything we needed, and was super cozy. A note for future renters—it says 3br, but there’s only one actual bedroom and the open loft is divided into 2 parts, without doors. For our family, it was just fine, and we were able to put one kid on a couch, and add a twin air mattress to part of the loft to sleep 8, but for those who need/want more privacy, just something to be aware of.
