We enjoyed a quiet and cozy winter weekend with beautiful views and a warm fire. The place is very clean and has great provisions. It is remote and quiet, but a short trip to Sturgeon Bay for shopping and restaurants. Greg was a very helpful host. While spending time at the house, the kids (ages 12 and 14) played their first games of foosball, we all played some great games together - nice selection of games and puzzles provided - and the sunrise was incredible! We especially enjoy visiting Scaturo's while in Sturgeon Bay. Nothing we've eaten from there has ever disappointed us! Be sure to grab a cherry pie! The house was spotless and beautifully set up — everything felt brand new and thoughtfully organized. The layout worked great for our group. The views of Lake Michigan are incredible, especially at sunrise, and we spent most evenings out by the fire pit or on the deck.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and it was nice having small touches like the coffee bar. It’s a short drive into Sturgeon Bay, but we also loved just relaxing at the house and walking the quiet beach.We can’t wait to come back next summer — it’s such a peaceful spot and you can really tell the owners put care into every detail. This place has gorgeous details within the home & the decor is super cozy! The property is so well kept & the view of the lake was breath taking! They have truly thought of everything to accomodate you for your stay. The owners communicate with you and are lovely people. Everyone had such a wonderful time sitting around the firepit while listening to the waves crash in. This is by far the best place we have booked and we hope to go back again soon! This property was perfect! The fire pit and shoreline were a huge draw for us and did not disappoint! We wish the sun would have been shining nice and bright like it was at our checkout time for the whole weekend, but that’s obviously uncontrollable. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and the house was very clean. Checkout instructions/requirements were minimal, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed the privacy and the view was amazing. So much to do in the area within 1 hour of the property. The house had everything we needed in it,and was spacious.
