This Stratton Mountain condo is all about location as it is right in the center of Stratton Village and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the lift! The condo has features to keep you comfortable no matter the season with its plush sofa, gas fireplace for warm snuggles with a glass of wine, or central AC for those sweaty days spend exploring the terrain. Food is never far away with the local restaurants, but if you need some time in, the full kitchen is there for a quiet and relaxing night. Take a sip of your morning coffee on your private balcony and sit down on one of the chairs available as you take in the views of the complex and enjoy the cool breeze. Book Long Trail House: 368 and you'll be granted access to shared on-site amenities that include swimming pools, hot tubs, sauna, a well-equipped fitness center, and a tennis court!

Just on the resort, you will find restaurants and apres-ski spots, shopping ranging from gear to fashion, a health center, pool, spa, and events. We had a terrible experience with this rental. Upon arrival, the management company did not provide the keys, leaving us locked out with two young children and forcing us to urgently find alternate accommodations on a holiday weekend. It was an extremely stressful situation. Vacasa was slow, unhelpful, and disorganized, offering little support when it mattered most. And if you don't mind a shower with lukewarm water and no water pressure. Also half the lightbulbs not working. Room had used floss and ear plugs found on the floor. Overall, this stay caused significant stress, inconvenience, and extra expense. Based on our experience, I would not recommend booking this property or management company. Still fighting to get a refund for the first night - no confidence I will actually get the refund. Very unprofessional.

The room is exactly as advertised as in the pictures. It’s not at all updated and other rooms on this property look to be. Overall, the room felt a bit pricey for what we got, but it was so convenient. Pros:- easy access to the mountain and town- main pool / spa area was nice apres ski (although closed 2 of 3 nights during our stay for maintenance). - property was not huge and we were with other families and made it easy to meet up- ski lockers are downstairs but we had to go to main lobby in a different building to ask for a lock. Guess it’s byo lock with this room. Cons- kitchen was not fully stocked as advertised. There was not even a pot to boil water or a pan to cook with. We spoke with Vacasa who did deliver new pans but not a pot to cook pasta in as we had asked for. Also, first Vacasa rep we spoke to said that cookware was not guaranteed with our rental even though it clearly says so on listing. 2nd Vacasa rep was much more helpful.- I don’t think the top of the refrigerator had been dusted in 2 years.- couch is annoying. The cushions kept coming off with slightest movement. There were some strange buckles underneath but we could not really figure out how to use- closets were messy. Empty boxes, no hangers, etc. - property faces the road and plows start early and it was very loud. - shower was very slippery and could be dangerous for some. Would be helpful to have a mat- area carpets seemed dirty. We put aside as we did not want to walk on them.

Kitchen pots/pans we're good quality and fine for small meals but missing basics like a spatula and knivesBathroom had insufficient towels, no shampoo and only 1 small soap. Vacasa Software not working properly.

Once we booked, a Management Company called Vacasa took over resulting in WAY too many text messages and it appears that the software bumped us from our second night and reserved for someone else. Too much drama to relay here but we were forced to leave and change all our plans.

Great place, very convenient

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very close to the slopes. Loved the hot tubs and outdoor pool. Very convenient and easy parking. Only difficult part was check in when our cards didn’t work. Couldn’t get a hold of Vacasa. Asked another guest in the building who directed us to the Bear lodge where we could get new cards.

What a great spot to stay. You walk out the doors and Stratton village is across the street. Would love to stay here when there is snow. Kitchen could use some utensils there is vary little. could have used some wine glass when siting in front of the fire. all and all though would recommend to a friend.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE check-in experience... will never book anything involving VACASA

Having rented for years at Stratton, this is a good location in a good condo complex. That being said the check-in experience was the worst i've ever encountered. The lock box was open and empty 20 minutes prior to check-in (the unit is 5 miles from Property Management Office). I called VACASA and they sent us on a wild goose chase for the "spare key card". I called them back to note that the scavenger hunt turned up empty. They then told me that the property manager, that we "had the key" - this was completely incorrect. We then went back to the lock box to find it now locked and the code I was given at time of booking did not worked. I called VACASA back. They gave me another lock-box code to try and it finally work. We then took the key cards to the condo and they didn't work. At this time, having spoken to VACASA 4 times with little help, I went to Stratton Guest Services and begged for them to amend the access cards, which they did with my evidence of rental emails, etc. They said this is something that they NEVER do and reluctantly did so. They did note that the key cards were not the correct cards for the unit I was renting. Again, terrible check-in experience. If you see VACASA in a rental, I would strongly recommend not renting as they clearly don't have their game on point.

The positives about this property are that it is just across the street from Stratton Village, so super walkable to the ski lifts and restaurants. The hot tub and pool also looked nice, though we didn't get a chance to use them. The condo does have all basics, so seems useful. I was frustrated with the stay though. The shower was grimy, the bedding had some small stains, and every time my husband moved in the bed it would bounce me and wake we up. We were very irritated in the morning when we found coffee and a coffeemaker but no filters. Basic kitchen supplies are not there. The closet was unusable because it was stuffed full of bedding. This certainly wasn't a terrible place, we were just not impressed with the stay. The frustration started when we booked through Expedia and received confirmations from Expedia, VRBO, and Vacasa. Some emails had conflicting information and we were not able to hear back from anyone about an early check in. The confirmation emails would benefit from having more specific details regarding keycard pick up as there are multiple lockboxes at the pick up location. The lockboxes also didn't relock after we returned the key. Overall, our impression was a lack of care and attention to detail about this property.

I was weary about this property after reading the reviews left by others, but we found it clean and perfect for a few days on the mountain! It is small with minimal amenities so you really are paying for location, but that’s what we were looking for. I’m not sure why other guests had issues with cleanliness, but it was fine for us. The communication with Vacasa was not great and check-in was confusing. For future renters: the address of the lockbox and lockbox combo will be provided before your stay-there were 4 white key cards in the lockbox and the lockbox had 2 room numbers on it. So I guessed and took 2 random keys which ended up working out (one key also opened the parking garage) but makes me question whether the keys are universal which is slightly creepy. There was no one in the office to verify check in info. It was also disappointing that the electric fireplace wasn’t working, as that was something we were looking forward to and specifically looked for in a stay.

Good location, dirty unit with poor management

Superficially its a cute and cozy spot with a good layout and easy 5min walk to the lifts, but the management company only does a cursory job with no attention to detail. *Moldy shower curtain *My husband was convinced that someone had been sleeping in the bed by the mess of the duvet and bed skirt, but the flat sheet tucked in tight showed someone had made it. *Everything in the kitchen is in the wrong place. I had to wash the black out of the pans before I could use them (took my 15 seconds, not hard). *The baseboard in the bathroom is tile, and there is a thick layer of black greasy dust that hasn't been washed in ages. Shower head has no pressure. *Fireplace didn't work *Several knobs on the dresser are stripped and pull right off. *Very poor communication. No street address given for key pick up. Very easy to miss the building. It would be helpful to know which building our room is in, so we park near the correct elevator. There is nothing in the room to explain the layout of the building, the presence and location of the ski lockers, hot tub, pool, etc. No info about Stratton. Trail map would be nice. *Previous occupants used their key to walk in after 5pm. Keys should inactivate after turn over to the new occupants. We hoped that they were truly the previous occupants looking for a coat (they said they called Vacasa and Vacasa told them they could come back and search the rooms). Well no one came back and stole anything. *We knew there would be no hot tub bc of COVID, but if the small one we saw was it, there is no way its adequate for this huge building. *Very loud next to the road. The first night with inclement weather, the snowplows woke us up repeatedly. If you are coming from a city this might not be an issue.
