This year we were a little disappointed. Quality of bath towels and toiletries were not as good as we remembered. The electric kettle did not bring the water to boiling and the Keurig mentioned in the description was nowhere to be found, making coffee difficult. When a cleaner was asked about these deficiencies, she informed us that “stuff moves around” and nothing was done to help. The kitchen worked for breakfast in and for a couple of suppers in. Everything was just as presented in the photos. Good beds and convenient parking were nice at the end of a long day out.One complaint: the noise from the neighbouring apartment. The neighbours weren’t bad, but even normal conversations could be heard word for word through the wall of the bedroom overlooking the parking lot, especially where the drywall wall (the shared wall) meets the brick wall. On our last night, returning from a play after 11:00, the loud music and conversation could be heard throughout our apartment. We did ask them to turn it down at midnight, which they did immediately. I’m not sure what can be done in terms of soundproofing. I imagine it’s the same all along that brick wall. It’s the only fault, but it is a substantial one. ##### Lorraine J.
