Sadly it rained and flooded the river so we only got to enjoy swimming/fishing for 1 days, but we had lots of fun hiking the Shenedoah mountains and exploring the nearby areas. The house and property are beautiful and clean. There was a small issue with the electricity that was resolved quickly. Some of the outside lights (dusk/dawn light above main stairs) didn’t come on. Jul 19, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### The Duck Blind The overall experience was very good with a beautiful view and activities for the family. We were visiting my daughter in the area so its proximity and cost were great and comparable to hotel costs or cheaper but with much more space. The only big detractors was that the water smelled like sulfur. This was a bit of a big deal for some of the family but we managed fine. ##### James A.
