Thank you for the thoughtful touchesWe were really touched by the surprise treats left for us on arrival, such a kind and personal gesture that made us feel very welcome. The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable and beautifully presented with everything we could possibly need.Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy our stay fully as we had to leave the island earlier than planned due to Storm Amy and ferry cancellations. In fact, the in-suite washer/dryer combo was out for repair, but a nearby washroom was available for Park Suite 1 & 2 and worked wonderfully. Had I know that, I would have reserved Park Suite 2 which would have suited two persons better. The hosts had generously supplied us with some tasty kitchen treats which we enjoyed our entire week. All the rooms were clean with good hot water in the showers and kitchen. All in all a good home base for our time in Stornoway, withing walking distance from ferry, bus and downtown. ##### Martha R.
