One night in that hotel. Convenient as the car park is large and free. My room was a bit close to the main road so not quiet. Bed + bathroom very good. Wifi working well. Good restaurant at reasonable prices. Supermarket next door if you need to refuel.

bon hotel proche de Stoke on Trent
Situé proche de la Zone Industrielle de Meir park. Grande Chambre, Hotel avec un grand parking. Lit confortable, très propre. relié à un pub Hunger horse. les proportions sont grandes, et pas trop cheres (8-10£ par personne). TV neuve avec plus de 40 chaines (que anglais). le Petit dej se prend au Pub, donc c'est fait à la demande (5 menus). L'hotel est à 15-20 mn de Stoke On Trent (connu pour la poterie). Il y a un McDo à 200m. Demander une chambre à l'étage pour avoir moins de bruits du parking et aussi par ce que les cloisons sont fines.

Hotel plutot agréable, propre,facile d'accès. Un peu trop bruyant du à sa proximité d'une route fréquenté. La literie n'est pas terrible, à revoir. Sinon c'est pas mal. Un pub directement accollé à l'hotel ainsi qu'un restaurant Hungry horse, servi en énorme quantité!! Bien sympa.

Everything was perfect to be fair . Standard but perfect . Only thing to moan about was on arrival the reception seems to be ran by the manager that also works the pub . We arrived tea time friday and the pub was busy . Myself and my partner and anotuer family had to wait a good 15 / 20 mins before anybody came to check us in

Dated but very clean. Some pub noise if windows were open but ceased by bedtime. Shower was great, very powerful & suite seemed updated though tiles etc were not. Served its purpose for clean & comfortable accommodation in the area. Lots of EV charging points which was great. Didn’t try any dining options so can’t comment there. Bathroom was clean but smelt a little damp, cleared quickly on airing with door open. Floor in bathroom felt a bit springy underfoot. Maybe old beams or the route of the damp smell?? I’d stay again if needed.

The staff in the bar area were great with the kids. Food was good 👍 Our room was so noisy with people next door and upstairs walking about only not even trying to be noisy just the building was creeky! the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows lumpy. Check in and out was easy, free parking plenty of spaces . We didnt sleep great due to uncomfortable bed, bathroom tired and needed updating. Probably would stay elsewhere next time but for the price you get what you pay for .

The window in our room was all mouldy with dirty curtains, and we didn’t like the breakfast selection. Other than that the stay was okay, staff are very nice and helpful.

The hotel just needs Abit of TLC seems to have got well used, room was clean, bed, sink, toilet bath. Just needs updating because seems to be Abit dated. Got in room very warm and cosy but to warm for the night, so turned the heater off completely and I was still warm through the night so I opened the window. Restaurant next door caters for adults aswell as children, was very busy when we went for food can't complain about it seems to be well priced and affordable for drinks to, have offers on throughout the week. Separate bar next to the restaurant area with music. Seems to attract a lot of families, be aware you will get the odd children running around but for me it wasn't much of a problem.

Friendly hotel, good value
I’ve stayed at the hotel before & appreciate the large car park, location, great restaurant. The corridors are in need of some TLC but my room was very nice & spacious. The beds are always comfy & the room was quiet so I got a good sleep. The staff are always very friendly & helpful

Amazing friendly staff
I cant remember the ladys name (sorry) however im sure the 22 years shes worked there you will know who i mean. Super friendly at check in and let us check in early. We had a wedding to attend so the hour we had to get ready was very helpful to us. Nothing was too much trouble. Polite friendly and great customer service. Will definitely return again. The beds were super comfortable too. Great location.

Warm and welcoming
Lovely and warm. Comfy bed and spacious room. Not ideal location if wanting to walk to a pub but minutes away from local pubs in a taxi. Having a well known restaurant in the hotel was fantastic and good meal but disappointed they didn’t have the doughnut dessert but luckily Tesco is just across the road.

Disappointing
The noise from the road is constant. I was awake at 3 am and was unable to go back to sleep because of it. The room although dated was clean and warm. But new pillows are desperately need. The current ones are hard and lumpy. All in all we won't be staying again

Hotel has several 22kwh EV chargers in its car park, and there are even faster 50 kWh chargers opposite (in McDonalds).

An overnight stay very close to family.
The hotel is in need of a serious overhall from small things like a plug in the bathroom sink that works to removal of mould around the bath. overall the bathroom is tired and un welcoming. The only plus is that there is unlimited hot water. The shower over the bath is uninviting and there is a notice to say if you need a safety bathmat go to recption to request one. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable with very clean bedding so we had a good nights sleep

Would stay again
Hotel was great, had a two night stay as we were going to Alton Towers, not too far away which was great. Good location, walking distance from Aldi and Tesco a d only about a 30 minute drive to Alton Towers in Traffic. The hotel was clean and better than i expected. Bed was very comfy, double bed with very soft bedding. Only thing was thay one side of the bed felt that it was dipping however for a short stay it was okay. Hotel had bar and restaurant attached which was great! The food was better than expected with great offers on food and drink very happy with the experiance. Also on the Wednesday, the bar had a quiz night, fantastic fun and well done very enjoyable. The reception staff, i believe it was Victoria, was great and super lovely. Very helpful and full of local knowledge to ensure we could fill our free time with good activites. Also she was warm and friendly on check in and every other occassion that she spoke with us. Would stay here again!!

This may have been the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. There was mold all around the shower. The vinyl floor in the bathroom was sliced open in one place and sagging like a sponge in others. The veneer on the tops of all the furniture was mostly worn off. The walls were dirty. We had to wait almost 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check us in - and that was after using a doorbell button and a phone that were both labeled "use if you need service". Clearly a place that is being run to extract as much cash as possible without any capital investment. The owners should be ashamed. How it garners respectable ratings numbers in website reviews should be investigated.

The hotel was exactly what we needed for a family trip to Alton towers. Comfy bed to sleep in and the food was great. Cannot thank Robyn enough, she went above and beyond to help us with our booking issues when we arrived can kept us updated. She was fab!
