Please respect their privacy and avoid imposing on them by asking to use their dock. \- The two secured closets are for our cleaning team, and the secured shed is for our maintenance team. ~Other things to note~ Let us know if you'd like to order some fresh Chesapeake steamed crabs. Captain Jimmy is a commercial crabber who lives nearby that we've partnered with to provide crabs fresh from the Bay. He catches bushels of the best and biggest crabs you'll see, and steams them, too! We featured his steamed crabs in our photos. He just needs about 2 days advance notice. You can order by-the-dozen, or by-the-bushel. But ask us for other amounts. Prices are extremely reasonable, they are more than well worth it. The beach is nice and has good clean sand. At rare times when storms change the bay current the sand may diminish, or be underwater temporarily in high tide hours. But the beach always returns under normal current conditions. One item to be aware of is the bunk bed. It has a 250 lb. weight limit that is not to be exceeded. Please plan accordingly. We do not allow pets. But just a few miles north on Kent Island is Dogwood Acres Pet Retreat. They "spared no detail in creating the region’s premiere pet lodging and daycare facilities where pets are happy, healthy and engaged." Perfect location on the east bay but just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay. The view were spectacular especially at at night since we were there during the Blood Moon. The house is beautifully decorated with a wonderful sun room overlooking the water. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The location was quiet and quaint with beautiful views. The cottage was clean and welcoming with beautiful modern decor. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. It had space to spread out and places to gather together. We’re a group of four sisters and one sister-in-law who spend a weekend together each November. This was the perfect place for us to play games, relax in the hot tub, view the sunrise, enjoy the water view from the sunroom and lawn, and make great meals. Immaculate home, beautifully organized, and well-stocked with all the essentials! We really liked the open floor plan in the main living area. This was perfect for our family. Everything inside was comfortable and clean, but we spent most of the time outside. We brought our kayaks and launched from the nice sand beach. We also found that you can walk quite a way into the water and it's still only a few feet deep. We all loved the hot tub and spent most nights sitting around the fire table. ##### Charles A. We had a wonderful stay at this great property, while in town for my niece’s wedding. The location on the water is perfect, and the house was clean and well thought out. A well stocked kitchen, plenty of seating, and lots of little extras you don’t often find in a rental home. It is obvious that the owners put a lot of thought and care into their property. Our only suggestion would be to remove the loose boards with rusty nails down by the little beach area…this would have been a dangerous hazard if we had children in our group. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the gorgeous interior and stunning views. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The hot tub was a huge hit and added an extra touch of luxury to our getaway.The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire house was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. We truly appreciated the attention to detail.The host was fantastic! Their communication was excellent, providing us with all the necessary information and details before and during our stay. The check-in process was seamless and easy.The location was ideal, offering easy access to both Annapolis and Kent Island, allowing us to explore the area with ease. There was not really enough to do and had to travel a good amount of distance for attractions etc. The small little beach at the end of the property is not really a beach and very difficult to get to with all the rocks. No dock and the time we stayed was miserably hot and extremely buggy. Flies and mosquitoes were terrible. I bet this location would be great in the fall. ##### Cheryl H. The open layout of the home provides all the opportunity in the world to keep in communication with the group and does an amazing job keeping everyone engaged with each other.
