No Smoking or Pets Allowed Timber Run is a fantastic Steamboat vacation rental location. This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom condo is situated only three blocks from the gondola/base area. You can walk to skiing, restaurants, pubs and shopping but also have the convenience of free shuttle service to the mountain in the winter. This warm, cozy unit was just beautifully remodeled (November 2018), feels brand new and features fabulous Coretec flooring, gorgeous granite countertops, brand new stainless appliances, magnificently tiled showers, rustic mountain-style wood doors and trim as well as superb decorating touches. Enjoy views from the living area and patio, as well as some open space as you are situated on an isolated side of the building. Kick back on the sofa and watch a show or movie on the big screen TV or warm up by the gas fireplace. The open living area also includes the remodeled fully stocked kitchen, dining table with 4 chairs (sits 6 with leaf), counter seating (3 bar stools) ample seating (queen sleeper sofa, 1 chair) and access to the patio. The master suite offers a comfy King bed, flat screen TV and the recently updated private full bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a Twin XL over Queen bunk bed. There is another remodeled, full bathroom in the hallway. Timber Run has all the property amenities you would want on site including an outdoor heated pool, three outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, a BBQ area with picnic tables, community laundry rooms, tennis courts (summer only) and free shuttle services (winter only) to take guests to the ski area. You have a locked ski locker next to the front door. A convenient parking lot is outside of the unit. Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. It was very easy to communicate with the management and they were very quick to respond and very helpful. Two major complaints, however: 1) the water pressure was non-existant and it took forever to take a shower and 2) the pool was mostly empty following some sort of project and wasn't filled by the time we left (they used a single garden hose to fill it up). I didn't contact the host regarding the water pressure, but I did mention that we had picked their condo because it looked nice (which it was) and had a pool. The host said that the issue with the pool was stated somewhere in the Vrbo listing, which I don't recall seeing, and that the price was discounted to reflect that. I asked for a reference to that information in the listing and they couldn't reproduce it. I once again stated that we would have chosen another listing had we known that we wouldn't have access to the pool and they said that the HOA had last updated them that the pool was supposed to be ready on the day of our arrival (we stayed for two nights). It was quite disappointing that they were unwilling to discount the price of our stay any more than they claimed it had been discounted initially since they not only included photos of the pool in the listing, but didn't have this information posted prominently or made any visible mention of the discount in the original posting.
