The condo is a comfortable 2 Bedroom | 2 Bathroom condo that is perfect for couples, families, groups, and solo travelers. It has a year-round outdoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, volleyball courts, and a clubhouse with ping-pong. Enjoy the cozy gas fireplace after a day on the mountain. Wake up to the stunning views of the Steamboat ski hill and enjoy a cup of coffee on the private deck. THE SPACE Located a short walk from Steamboat Ski Resort base and situated right along the complimentary bus route into town and the base, this comfortable 2BR/2BA retreat at Rockies Condominiums is the perfect spot for your Colorado adventure. Greet the morning sun with views of the ski resort on the private balcony, then head to the pool for a swim and a soak in one of two hot tubs. The cozy clubhouse is another social place for ping-pong or relaxing with a beverage. LIVING AREAS The sun-soaked living room is furnished with a handsome leather sofa and love seat. Turn up the gas fireplace while you watch your favorite shows on the 55” flat-screen Samsung Smart TV. KITCHEN & DINING A full suite of stainless steel appliances makes meal prep simple in the kitchen. Whip up favorite dishes while your loved ones perch at the breakfast bar. When it's time to eat, share a home-cooked meal at the four-person dining table. BEDROOMS & BATHS This second-floor condo sleeps up to six guests in two bedrooms and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. Both bedrooms have comfy queen-size beds, flat-screen TVs, and warm wood furnishings. The first guest bathroom has a walk-in shower, and the second has a jetted tub/shower combination. OUTDOOR AREAS Step outside to your private balcony to enjoy the morning sun and fresh mountain air. There’s seating for four on the balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee. The Rockies Condominiums pool and two hot tubs are a short walk from your door, as is the sand volleyball court. Head to the complex clubhouse for a game of ping-pong, comfy fireside seating, or to use the well-equipped fitness center. There’s also a shared grill area for family-style cookouts. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, in-unit washer/dryer, and parking for one car in the lot. This second-floor condo is accessed via one flight of stairs. Please note- Our unit does not have Air Conditioning. This is a feature not commonly found in mountain towns. We have numerous fans in the unit for you to use and the cool mountain air does cool down the unit at night very nicely. THE LOCATION With Steamboat Ski Resort, downtown, and local shops and eateries within a quick walk, drive, or seasonal shuttle ride away, this amenity-rich condo has everything you could ask for in a Colorado vacation. During the winter, hit the slopes -- the base is located less than a 10-minute walk away along the walking path. Hike Emerald Mountain in 3 miles, or treat yourself to a soak at the Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs in less than 10 miles. The pool and hot tubs are open all year long. The shuttles primarily run in the winter season, but the bus stop is right outside the complex. There is space for 2 cars in the lot except for certain times of the year, which is up to the HOA. There is a public bus stop for the purple line, but we didn’t use it. It was easier just to walk up the hill to go skiing. The kitchen is really nice and equipped well, including things like a crock pot, coffee grinder and Keurig/drip coffee maker, blender, spices, etc. It is apparent that the owners take pride in their unit. You really can’t ask for anything more. We had Christmas away from home for the first time and this condo was perfect. Large dining table was great for having other family members over for dinner. Nice hot tubs and pool. I think they must take the grills in for winter. So no grilling at the condo if that is your thing. A grill is about the only thing that could have made this better, but nothing the owners could do about this. I highly recommend this unit. ##### Vincent A. The kitchen is very well stocked (we ate almost all our meals there) and the layout is convenient to having young children go to bed early with bedrooms down the hall. Bathrooms were updated. We used the shuttle to ski as the walk is a bit far with gear. It arrives every 20 min and picks up a few steps from the property. Hot tub and pool were working well and a definite must after skiing. It's on the shuttle route to the base - that comes every 20 mins. There is a walking path too but we never took it - might be easier if you know where you're going or not carrying gear as it is uphill. The furniture was good. Nice view of the mountain from the family room. Communication with the owner was excellent. Easy check-in. Watchout: parking lot is downhill/uphill so make sure your car has good tires for snowy days. ##### Dana B.
