The house was perfect for all of us. The hot tub and back porch afforded a great place to gather for small talk in the evenings. The patio grill and fire pit were wonderful for smores before bedtime. The home is located a 1/2 mile from downtown. You can walk; we opted to drive due to the age of my parents. Make sure to get to the Alpine Slide early as the wait can exceed an hour. Do Zipline Steamboat, it's only a 10-15 drive from the home. Do not raft the Colorado. There are no rapids and it's a gentle 2 hr drive there or an aggressive 90 minute drive. Either way it's just not worth the commute. Consider Del's for horseback riding and Steamboat Outpost for UTVs. ##### greg m. Our group stayed during ski season and it was easy to shuttle to-from the mountain or a short drive to park if you prefer. There is plenty of space to hang out both indoors and out.
