Hotels near Sea Island Centre Station

"Me: "Where would you prefer to live? [our home city] or Vancouver?" My 4 year old: "I prefer to live in... this hotel!" We had a blast at the River Rock hotel during May long weekend. Our little one loved the swimming pool, and we had the bonus of having a room right above the SkyTrain and in the flight path of planes taking off from YVR... built-in free entertainment! Really close to places we like to visit in Richmond too... restaurants, shopping, Richmond Night Market. Plus easy access to the highway to go into the city. Our room was clean and comfortable. Check-in/out was easy too. My only criticism is the layout of the resort meant a bit of a long walk each day to get to the parking lot (across the street and then on the other side of the resort), and the swimming pool was tricky to find. Signage could be clearer. Also the elevators in the parking lot were broken, along with some of the elevators in the resort itself. "

"We just stayed here one night before boarding a flight from YVR but it was super close to Richmond Center and the sky train which made it super easy to get too and conveniently located for eating and shopping. We took the free shuttle in the morning which was great. They also gave us a free upgrade to a three bedroom suite which was amazing! "

"Was under renovation while I was there so the kitchen and restaurant were closed but they still had meal options available for us that were satisfactory. Staff was incredibly kind and the room felt safe, clean and quiet."

"We always stay here when flying. It’s so convenient walking right out of your room onto your flight, and the hotel is very nice. The rooms are big and have a great view of the planes. The 24 hour room service is a great touch. "

"i Like the location its near and the airport because we need to sleep from lay over back to Saskatoon.but i accidentally check the duvet the gray one i feel its dirty and they have 1 hair because i compare the left bed and its clean..hope next time be sure that always change and clean the bedding..but i appreciate the morning breakfast snack"

"We arrived early from our trip, they were able to let us check in and get into our room really as soon as we got there. We took their free shuttle to the airport. They also let us check out late and that worked out perfectly with our flight time. Area was quiet. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable "

"The location and the service were ideal. My third stay there while visiting Vancouver Appreciated the friendly professional service of the driver Wagner and bellman. Aside from lipstick on bath robes, a small tear in the drapes and the small restrooms, everything was great. I would recommend and stay there again. Thanks"
