The 1,000-square-foot log cabin is a nature lover\`s dream for up to 5 lucky guests who can experience the highlighted beauty of the mountains, huge wraparound deck with outdoor dining space, charcoal grill, private hot tub, in-unit laundry facilities, indoor gas fireplace, and outdoor fire pit! \- Located in the Cabins of Birch Hollow community, offering 300+ acres of private property with developed hiking trails. \- Mountain Spirit is pet friendly however pet fee of $100 does not show in total balance. We have a $100 pet fee that covers up to 2 dogs. Please contact directly after booking to add this $100 fee. \- Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen (standard coffee pot, blender, microwave), private hot tub, charcoal grill, outdoor fire pit, Smart TV with Roku and Blu-ray player, WiFi, indoor gas fireplace, patio furniture, steam shower, outdoor dining area, large wraparound deck, in-unit washer and dryer, and much more! (Please note: gas fireplaces will not be active from April 15 - October 15.) \- Sleeping Arrangements: Master Bedroom: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Living Room: Queen Leather Sleeper Sofa Bed and Twin Sleeper Sofa \- We provide fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! Trailers Prohibited. \- Fantastic Red River Gorge location - only a short drive to Kroger, multiple festivals, rock climbing, zip lining, hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking/canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, local museums, sky lift, mountain views, various suspension bridges, local restaurants, and cafes! \- Cabins of Birch Hollow community does of camera surveillance. At Brookside there is 2 cameras in the yard on the pole facing opposite directions at incoming/outgoing traffic, and 1 camera on the porch facing the other two cameras on the pole in the yard. There is also a camera located at the Sundance cabin, mounted on the left side of the porch facing the driveway/barn. Birch Hollow \- Dogs permitted with $100 fee. (Dogs only; maximum 2 allowed. Dogs need to be crated if left at the property alone.) Pet fee does not automatically add to your balance, please contact us to apply after booking. \- Please contact us as soon as possible if you must cancel or reschedule your stay. The cleanliness was lacking. upon arrival the coffee pot was dirty and full of grounds. There was a terrible smell coming from the garbage disposal. Had to flush it out with soapy water several times. The bathroom rugs were dirty, which is inexcusable given the on site washer and dryer. There was dog hair throughout from the previous guests. The TV (Hulu) never worked the entire time. Calls to management were not helpful. Given the price, I wouldn't stay again . ##### Sherri R. Unfortunately, it has not received the care/attention it deserves. Upon arrival we found the hot tub had a green tint to the water and the surface of the inside was covered in a film of algae. The WiFi did not work for our entire stay, as well as the fire place being out of order. I called management 2x during their business hours and only received an answer or call back to 1 call. They did send someone to come empty the hot tub and refill it. I believe the water needs treated, by the time we left the algae seemed to be returning. He was not able to resolve the issue with the fireplace and we did not receive any follow up on the WiFi issue. There was a nice selection of books with titles that would suit most readers of any age. There were also board games. The upstairs shower needed cleaned. There was black gunk growing in the grout on the floor and it felt somewhat slimy when wet. The down stairs shower was cleaner. There were small rugs throughout the home that looked as if they had not been washed in quite awhile and the garbage disposal smelled as if it needed emptied and cleaned. Overall, I do not feel that this stay was worth the price we paid. ##### Reva O. We had two dogs with us and took advantage of the nearby trails. The living room was cozy and did not feel cramped and the fireplace at night was perfect! We cooked everyday, the kitchen was well supplied with cookware. It was a quick 15 minutes to get to the grocery in Stanton. Beautiful view from the large A-frame windows! Washer and dryer, cooking equipment, games, soaps and paper towels etc. but it should be better maintained. We arrived late at night only to find out that the beds had not been cleaned and were filthy. Lots of long hairs, crumbs, etc. there were no extra sheets so we had to wash everything before we could sleep. My young daughters were exhausted and we had to put them on the couch to sleep while we got everything washed and dried. Because of that we did not know if anything else was clean truly. All the blankets were thrown into a hamper but we're not folded so we assumed those were forgotten just like the beds. All in all it was ok but was definitely expecting the basics to be covered ##### Jan V.
