Has a large back-up generator (House is fully powered 24/7). Off-street parking, fully furnished. Very quiet, safe and friendly neighbor hood. Guest access..... You will have access to the entire unit. You can do your laundry, watch your favorite TV show or sports on a 60" flat screen HDTV. You can cook your own meals, eat out or sit back after a long beach day and do some grilling. Neighborhood overview....... The property is located on a private street away from the main highway so there is no traffic noise, every safe and friendly neighborhood, there are 4 houses on my street and I owned two of them, I live in the on across the street so I am always available if my guest need me. It is close to the water only 2 minutes walk to the beach. Getting around You can get a taxi to anywhere you need to go on the island but it will be very pricey, I highly recommend renting a car so you can go wherever you want and when you want. We have a family owned rental car business and we offer our guest up to 15% discount on rental cars. Guest can also take our cars to St John on the car barge from Red Hook to visit and explore the beaches and parks in St John. Other things to note......... We also have a 125KW automatic generator which is necessary in the Virgin Islands. The location was perfect to all.Beaches and restaurants and the condo was brand new. Dexter provided everything we needed in advance and was available to answer any questions that came up during our stay. We rented a vehicle through Dexter as well. It was a Jeep Wrangler which came in handy driving on the roads in St. Thomas and St. John’s.. it was also a lot less expensive than renting through any of the major rental car companies. This was one of our best vacations ever and we are already looking forward to planning next year‘s vacation and staying at one of Dexters condos. ![Secret Harbor-resort. The unit was spotless, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated having all the essentials—paper towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper—so we didn’t have to run out and buy anything. The A/C worked great, the beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels for our stay.We loved that the unit came with beach chairs, a cooler, and beach gear—it made our beach days so easy and convenient. The location was perfect: less than a 5-minute drive to the supermarket and close to plenty of restaurants. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the cruise port but still only about 15 minutes away, which was ideal.It was incredibly convenient to rent a Jeep directly from the host. We were able to explore the entire island at our own pace and even take the car ferry over to St. John for a day—such a great experience!Another highlight was the pool area—we had it almost entirely to ourselves every day. It was so nice to relax on the lounge chairs and unwind after exploring.Our host was extremely responsive and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit was clean and tidy & had everything we needed to make it our home for 5 days including a cooler, beach chairs, beach towels and snorkel equipment. We also rented a car from the owner which was much needed to get around the island though it took a little getting used to driving on the left side of the road. We enjoyed making some meals in the kitchen and hanging on the balcony watching a family of birds in a nest nearby. The pool was a nice retreat. Grills looked clean though we did not use them. Washer & dryer located outside was helpful to have. We recommend staying here & getting a car for the convenience. ##### Steve P. Wonderful condo, wonderful owner! The place was spotless upon arrival. I would highly recommend this condo. The only drawback was it wasn’t within walking distance to anything. We had a great stay! Our only problem was trying to find the place. We clicked on the google maps link that was provided but it didn’t take us to the condo. The link had us driving all over the place. Dexter was easy to get a hold of and he told us that we needed to actually open google maps and type in “Scott Beach Villas”. Piece of cake after that. Highly recommend renting a car and renting one through Dexter. Very easy to do and so convenient! ##### Amanda B. Dexter was a great host. The house was immaculate and perfect for our stay with the kids. Safe and clean. They have plenty of towels for beach and shower and make up towels as well as shampoo/conditioner and body wash- also snorkeling gear - beach chairs and coolers. We had already bought all that prior to arriving at our stay unknowingly. But it’s def good to know for the next trip. I will def consider this place again for our next stay. The AC is perfect - TV in living room and rooms. Nothing bad to say about this place - wish there were more like these on the island. Def on the top. Good views also. The property was beautiful with a great view. It was nice and clean and came equipped with a washer dryer and snorkeling gear. I agree with other reviews that driving into the area does look a little sketchy but once at the property, everything was good and we learned from driving around that that is just the way things look on the island. My 75 years old mother and I stayed here and we would not hesitate to stay again. The pool was recently put in and is heated. Just down from the property is Compass Point Marina, which has a breakfast and lunch spot called “An hour late” that we ate at twice. The property is very close to Red Hook but you will need a vehicle to get around, taking taxi’s everywhere will be expensive. ##### Tammy K. My husband, son and I stayed here for a week over Christmas 2023\. We had never been to St. Thomas before so were unsure what to expect. The owner of this property made it simple. The condo was everything we needed with a beautiful view from the balcony. Dexter (owner) provides all necessities (linens, towels \[including beach towels\], fully equipped kitchen with tea towels, dish soap, scrubbing sponge, paper towels and garbage bags, ample shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom. In short, the only thing I might have desired but didn’t have were tissues. There is a small beach a two minute walk away that rarely has anyone else on it. Getting in the water is a bit of a challenge due to the rocky sea floor, but one becomes more adept each time and it is so worth it to have the beach to yourself. A grocery store is close (very expensive but extremely convenient). Red Hook (dining, car ferry) is a short drive away. Dexter runs a car rental service so we took advantage of this. Someone meets you at the airport with the car, and again at the curbside departure area for its return. Very easy. In short, we would stay here again if we returned to St. Thomas. ##### Amanda S. Very comfy The unit were very nice and as advertised. However, the surrounding area is in bad shape. As we were pulling up to the villas, I was worried I made a horrible mistake with this booking. Luckily, the villa did not match its environment. The villa was beautiful. The manager Dexter was very nice and took time to deal with the wifi issue we had. I had to help but I didn't mind. I could hear his family in the background of every call, that let me know he was stopping what he was doing to attend to our needs. I would definitely recommend his villas. ##### Keith C. There will be a third, 4th, etc. it is close to red hook, easy to get downtown and elsewhere. Quiet location. Food center grocery is a minute away (although they are EXPENSIVE, go to Pueblo instead). ##### Brian C. Beautiful view of the ocean bay from the balcony. Dexter the owner is so very accommodating and friendly. We even rented a car through him and it was probably the easiest experience renting a car I have ever had. We will 100% be returning, and will use this host indefinitely. ##### chad s.
