Although we're a bit biased, Sapphire Beach Resort is the best vacation spot on the island! Enjoy the feel of a small, local resort, all necessities beachside within the community, and the pleasantly surprising convenience to the many restaurants, shops and adventures of St. Thomas' East End. We were delighted to find sea turtles just off the beach and an easy ferry to the countless trails and beaches of St. John, but maybe you'll love the night life of Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie. The adventure is yours to choose! Welcome to Ocean Breeze! THE SPACE This modern beach condo is your airy oceanside getaway. Within Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina, its location is the perfect balance of privacy and convenience. The open design of this studio provides sweeping views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea kissing the white sands of Sapphire Beach whether you’re waking up in the king-sized bed, pouring coffee in the kitchen, lounging on the couch, or sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves lap the shore! Consider an easy visit to St. John, and several British Virgin Islands that enhance the horizon. Slide open the balcony doors to create your own indoor/outdoor living space and bask in the panoramic view. Open the front door as well to take advantage of fresh easterly breezes passing through. The four-top table is a comfortable work or dining area, and premium cable channels & Netflix are provided. Sleep well on the luxury Serta pillowtop mattress, cooled by ceiling fans, in addition to central air. You’ll enjoy the fully tiled shower, double sinks, and tiled floor of the bath. Our kitchen boasts white shaker cabinets, quartz countertop, stainless sink, faucet, refrigerator and built-in microwave, as well as an electric cooktop. A coffee maker, single K-cup brewer, toaster oven, blender, and traditional toaster are also provided. If you're traveling with a large party, we also own the condo directly next door, Tropical Tide, and will be glad to provide that listing for the option to stay close. GUEST ACCESS As a guest of Ocean Breeze, you are entitled to the exclusive benefits of Sapphire Beach Resort. Rent jet-skis, go parasailing, and try other watersports! Local bonus: boats returning to the marina at dusk may sell their fresh catch to you. The Laundry Room: is in the module to the left (north side) of the marina. Tokens for washer/dryer, and detergent, can be purchased 7:30am-3:00pm in the Dockmaster’s Office, next door in the same module. In our experience, tokens cost $4 each; cost is one token to wash and wash betaken to dry. Washer takes 35 min, and dryer takes 45 min. All of this is subject to change at resort management’s discretion. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE Remember, we own the condo directly next door, Tropical Tide! The unit is very clean and just as it looks in the pictures. The beach is stunning and has an excellent breeze. You can snorkel and see beautiful fish right off the shore. The resort at Sapphire Beach is fabulous and the condominium itself is beauful. We arrived to find a fully equipped and updated living space, kitchen and bath, not to mention the stunning view through the sliding doors on the patio of the beach and bay islands. This condo has a lot of personal touch and attention to detail that really make you feel at home. This was by far the most well equipped place we've rented, and we were able to focus on starting our vacation without having to "stock up" first. The snorkelling was excellent right off the beach. We saw lobster and a beautiful nurse shark hidden in the coral as well as all of the other colorful fish you'll find on a reef. Also highly recommend day trips to St. John's beaches, where we were fortunate to find some sea turtles to swim with on 2 different days. Also hiked the trail to Rams Head for the most amazing view of all the islands. There are plenty of good shops and restaurants next to the resort and in Red Hook. One of our favorites was Agave, but also enjoyed lobster night at Duffy's Love Shack. Thank you Stacy and Travis for providing such a memorable place for our 30 year anniversary celebration. ##### Robert H.
