Convenient to the south end of the island's great restaurants, shopping, dog park, pickleball courts and more! Our sweet getaway is newly renovated with a private, fenced-in back yard, including a large outdoor patio and plenty of room to stretch your legs. Pet-friendly, so bring the dog! Enter our home through the screened front porch, complete with rocking chairs (our favorite spot for morning coffee before the day gets started!). The front door leads into an open concept common area, including a living room with fireplace, spacious kitchen, dining area and sunroom. The living room is complete with comfortable seating facing TV over fireplace. We have cable or you can stream your own favorite apps, if you prefer. The kitchen includes large island with two bar stools, two sinks, double oven, and stainless steel appliances. The dining area includes seating for six. The sunroom is complete with additional seating (great for reading a good book), as well as a desk for those needing space to work remotely. The laundry room is between the kitchen and master bedroom and includes both washer, dryer and a half bath. The bedrooms are split layout, great for families, with the Master bed and bath on one side and the two guest rooms on the opposite side. The guest rooms are separated from the common area by a door so little ones can sleep undisturbed. Guest Room to the left includes a King-sized bed. The Guest room to the right includes built in bunks with 3 twin beds and one queen. Both rooms share a full shower/tub combo bathroom located in between the two rooms. The Master bedroom includes a king sized bed with a bathroom with a shower for one. All bedrooms include closets and smart TVs. Guests and fur babies can exit the house to the back yard through the sunroom (includes a doggy door) onto a spacious covered patio facing the back yard with two beautiful 150 -year-old oaks and coastal palm trees -- private and perfect to set up to watch the game, enjoy a meal, cup of coffee or adult cocktail as you wind down from an amazing day on the island. Our house includes a driveway to park two vehicles comfortably, as well as a garage stocked with beach supplies, including a few chairs, buggy, small cooler and some beach toys to use during your stay. We also include four bikes in your rental to use if you wish! This is our little home away from home, so we try to include all the things you need to not have to hassle with packing odds and ends. Enjoy a short walk to access the pickleball courts and the SSI Village, with quick access to the pier, shops and great restaurants. You’ll be 0.3 miles from the Pier Village, and only 0.5 miles to beach access. We were close to the village went just about everyday there. The guys went fishing everyday at the north end of the island. Loved the beaches and the pool that was near by. We rented a golf cart and went everywhere in it. We never left the island. The house had plenty of towels for house and beach. One of the best beach trips we have had. The yard is perfect for kids and dogs and the house has everything you need for a long or short trip. We stayed over a week and it was like a home away. Our only feedback is that it’s due for a deep clean which is an easy thing to address. We have stayed here many times and will again - thank you! ##### Jill K. This rental is in a beautiful neighborhood, convenient to stores and restaurants. The place is large, comfortable, and well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable. This place sets the standard for accommodation, and the owner sets the bar for hospitality!! The owner ensured we had everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. There is a fenced yard for dogs and even a dog bath!! The gas for the grill ran out, and I said to myself, "I bet there is a spare tank in the gargage - and there it was!!! It is located near bike trails, downtown, and the beach. We highly recommend this rental to other Vrbo guests!! ##### ken l. Kids loved the bunk room. Parents of younger kids stayed in the adjacent king room and us on the other side of the house. It was nice that it was separated. Family room big enough for all to enjoy. We never felt crowded in the space. The house is wonderfully stocked with any dish and appliances you would need to cook. Also provides all the beach essentials chairs, umbrella and even a wagon to put it all it for the short walk. I have never stayed in a house that provides everything you need for a stay (paper towels, soap laundry soap) what a plus! Property manager was responsive with communication while we were there.
