It is a great walking town and being on the bay is wonderful. My wife attended the USF sponsored Conference on World affairs which was in walking distance, while I walked to the museums, park on the bay, and hung out. The only drawback was parking and understanding where you could and could not park. You cannot park in the lot behind the building, but must find parking on the street in the appropriate zone which really was not a problem, just a minor inconvenience. About a 4-6 minute drive to the pier so it’s very close. My only issue was with parking, all the spots fill up, luckily after circling for 5 minutes we saw a car pulling out but I don’t know what we would’ve have done if no one left. That being said, we had a really good experience at this spot. Literally 2 blocks from restaurants & bars we like to experience. Parking was easier than expected based on city parking zones, but it was no inconvenience at all. The place was clean, roomy enough for 2 adults, comfortable bed. The owner gave suggestions on places to go. We like to be locals and not tourists. As for cleanup/checking out. Simple instructions, easy ck out, no complexities or strict instructions/rules.
