Storm damage had not been mitigated enough to allow for safe access to parking, elevators, or beach. Poorly lit parking and “lobby” until a couple of steps in when the motion sensor would detect. Questionable person in an altered state loitering at elevator during bad weather one evening. Debris and random sharp objects sticking up from around parking and walking areas leading to beach,equipment blocking parking. Pool was not only closed and full of sand but also surrounded by barriers. We were not informed when I inquired about the pool, specifically.Floors left our bare feel black, toilets moldy, freezer moldy, not enough furniture inside or out for a party of 4 to recline comfortably. Had to move 1/2 of outdoor sectional in and out from balcony daily. Door combo pad started to faulted last couple of days of stay. Forgot to report. I’m sure it would have been addressed quickly if I had. Toilet repair was done within same day of notification.But, property was not in safe rental order. I would have cancelled if I’d known what I know now. Would definitely recommend The location was in the center of everything. The deck was amazing and had so many different areas to eat and relax. The deck was the best part of the condo. The condo was nice with good furniture. The one negative was that the dishwasher silverware bin needed to be replaced and apparently the guests before us either didn't run dishwasher or didn't use soap as all of the dishes and silver were pretty disgusting. We had to wash everything by hand once we took out of the dishwasher. The very large deck looked out to the ocean. We ate all of our meals outside with the ocean in the background. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the condo. All three tvs were large. The cable and WiFi gave us many options for inside entertainment! Our vehicle was given a parking spot in the first level parking garage. We had rolling carts to help get luggage and groceries up to our condo. This condo is in walking distance to get groceries and a short drive to Clearwater. We were only a 4 minute drive to John’s Pass where we enjoyed Wave runners, parasailing, dolphin tour, shopping and eating! Our teenage grandsons had a great time. It is usually hard to get them away from their gaming systems. Here, they had a blast. We will definitely look to book this condo for our next family vacation to Madeira Beach! ##### Deborah B. The three of us selected this nice condo because of the huge deck overlooking the ocean. We chose to book three weeks, ending with just over a week of vacation for one of us. Everything was as advertised. The first week and a half were delightful, with breakfast on the deck and sunsets in the evening, but we observed that part of the building was being painted, with scaffolding hanging from the roof. On Thursday of the second week (the day before the vacation began) we were told that we would have to remove all of the furniture (a lot) from the deck. Some of it had to come into our unit, so we had less room, and no longer had access to the deck. In addition, a scaffold was delivered to the deck, spanning its entire width, and plastic wrap was taped over all of the windows with ocean views. (The painting crew did cut out an opening across the living room door, which allowed us to see out, but the view was blocked by the scaffold!) We were told that the work should take two or three days, but was finished in about a week. That left a few days for us to enjoy the vacation time, except that in the interim, the air conditioning failed! That meant trying to live, sleep and work with temperatures in the eighties, open windows and doors (without screens), and traffic noise. When we informed iTrip of the problems, the response was timely. In fact, we were visited by several people who tried to determine the cause of the air conditioning failure. Of course, the painting could not be changed, and unfortunately the air conditioning problem was a bad compressor. iTrip offered us the option of a week’s extension at no additional cost, which we considered to be reasonable and relatively simple for all involved. We hadn’t anticipated that the entire week would be without air conditioning because the compressor was not available because of the Virus. We found this out the day we left. None of this was within the control of either the owner or iTrip, and although the timely responses were appreciated, we weren’t kept informed of progress or lack thereof, daily expecting a knock at the door to tell us that the air conditioning was being fixed. All in all, we felt that the owner and iTrip were cooperative, but that communication could have been much better. Assuming that things are now functioning properly, this is a super nice place to stay. ##### Betty P. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Judy F., Fairfield, OH 26 sept. 2020 Points forts : Propreté #### Heaven on earth Can’t say enough about the beauty of this place. It is our favorite in the area and we have come for several years. The location is wonderful; simple access to trolley but also close enough to walk to a few restaurants. The facility is well maintained and never disappoints. Maintenance and management personnel were friendly. ##### Judy F. Dishwasher broken, not fixed during our stay. All dishes, pans, silverware dirty, had to be hand washed. Ice dispenser broken, fridge not clean, outdoor furniture rusted, broken, stained. Unit was spacious, great location, lots of towels, well equipped, just needs repairs and/or replacement of appliances, furniture (especially outdoor), and some deep cleaning. Spent a lot of our vacation time doing dishes, cleaning. ##### Denise W. Séjour de 14 nuits en janvier 2020 ### 8/10 – Bien #### William H. 15 mai 2019 #### Excellent condo We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Condo was clean and well appointed. Linens were plentiful and comfortable. Appliances worked well. Condo is located on the third floor of a 12 floor tower one with only one functioning elevator. Plumbing fixtures in the tub (master bath) were loose and those in the shower (hall bath) were difficult to use. The vacuum cleaner was full and non functional when we arrived. With proper tools it could be fixed, but we were only able to clean it out unfortunately. Trying to use it only resulted in spreading more dirt around. The condo has access to the beach pool, and spa. Many good restaurants, a CVS, and a Publix supermarket are a short drive away. All in all an excellent choice for a comfortable stay. ##### William H.
