Had a bar and cafe in premise, Right on the beach, within minutes of everything to do. There was a couple minor issues with the room but not a big deal. Property management was very communicative and prompt with responses. The elevators need to be overhauled or replaced. One was not working and the other two were slow and during rides it was pretty warm, no ventilation or AC. As listed in previous reviews, there was a few things that need repaired like the bathroom vents and the sliding glass door, but other than that this was perfect for our family of 4\. The pool area was nice, but we did not utilize it much, because we were right on the beach! John’s Pass was just a quick 10 minute walk away. Our teens walked down there regularly as did us adults. This unit had beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, and some sand toys for the kids. Beach towels were not included, which was no big deal. Some units had them and some did not. Inside the unit exhaust fan in both bathrooms not working the master bedroom has no toilet paper holder the master bedroom sliding glass door would not open and there was a noticed on the counter top exhaust fan needed repair since last month. Séjour de 4 nuits en mai 2024 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Cathy M. 28 avr. 2024 #### Too many issues We arrived in the evening and found a note from the cleaning crew that they couldn’t make the master bed because the dryer took too long to dry the sheets. Upon trying to make the bed, the sheets were stained. Then the master bathroom smelled terrible from probably being cleaned with dirty sponges. The shower curtain smelled as well. We had to go to Target to get new sheets and shower curtain. Even more distressing was the handle to the sliding glass door was broken and hanging from a screw. A call to Carter Coastal Vacations had them out the next morning recleaning the bathroom and changing the sheets. The door handle was fixed on Monday. I was told my cleaning fee would be returned, but no refund issued. They did respond to my issues, but I don’t feel that these things should have happened in the first place, especially with the amount paid to rent it. On top of that, the resort rented out the restaurant for a wedding with a live DJ on Friday evening. It ended at 10, but hard to put small children to bed with that noise level, especially when we had to get up early to leave by 10 AM. The grounds are very nice, but too many issues for me to ever consider returning. ##### Cathy M. Condo was very clean. Needs a few things fixed, sliding glass doors and toilet seat but other than that it was perfect! ##### Jamie R. Only negative thing was with the resort itself, it appears as if people that aren’t actually staying at the resort come and get guest parking passes and just use the pool. Saw this happen every day and it didn’t seem like they have any way to prevent it. Made the pool very crowded and hard to get chairs and they let the spring break crowd get pretty wild. Would like to see them fix that, but overall we enjoyed the dtay. ##### scott p. We slept soundly on the beds, including the comfy pullout sofa. The complex is big, but not noisy at all. The balcony overlooks the beach from a short distance. The area is about a 0.5-1 mile walk to the commercial areas with restaurants, a Publix, and a Dolphin Quest boat ride. All walkable, safe, and pleasant. What more could you need? We used the beach chairs and towels to loaf around outside, and there’s a cooler and other beachy things should you need them.
