The ocean was just steps beyond the pool. As others have stated, the place could use some updates. The bed was not comfortable and the carpet needs replaced. We found one beach towel, so if you’re planning to go to the beach or pool, bring your own towels. The hardest thing for us is that we didn’t have a car. You can catch the trolley and ride for 2.50 per person, but be aware the pickup spot is a 30 minute walk away. Restaurants say they are one minute away, but it is an hour walk as you have to walk around the channel. There is also no hair dryer. Check-in and check-out was a pain because we had to go to the resort rental office to get the key and then to return it. Again, it would’ve been fine with a car, but the uber charged 38 round trip from Lands End to the rental place. I should’ve read the information better - my fault, but wanted others to be aware of this before you arrive. ##### Patty M. Across the lot from the pool and steps from the beach, there's also a boardwalk all the way around and on the channel side, a fun slice of dog beach. We ate our meals on the balcony watching the sunset. You might be able to find a place with more updates but you can't beat this location. We will be back. ##### Tref B.
