Redington Shores is ideally located and close to everything. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 2.5 miles to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Redington Beach is a quaint beach town that is just a short drive outside of St Petersburg, a city loaded with museums, art galleries, restaurants and shopping. Experience the surrounding towns by hopping on the Jolley Trolley and enjoying the many sights and activities known to the area. Beautiful stretches of beach, great spots for fishing, swimming, snorkeling, jet skiing, surfing and more. You will surely have a blast building sand castles at Redington Beach. The condo was as advertised. It was very clean and well-maintained. It was also well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The communication with the rental company went very smoothly as they were very responsive and timely with our registration and check-in process. The location was perfect and the beach was beautiful. The only recommendation that we would make would be to eliminate the need for keys to enter/exit the pool/beach area and replace them with some type of coded lock. The keys did not work well and created a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, everything was great and we would definitely recommend staying here. ##### Tim M. Our only glitch was that when arrived at the 3:00 check-in time, we entered the condo and quickly realized that it hadn't yet been cleaned. However, one call to the management office quickly solved the problem. Some mix-up in communication had caused the crew to clean the wrong unit. We went for a 45 minute beach walk, and by the time we returned, the unit was spotless. The unit was more than adequate -- comfortable furnishing, great balcony view, very quiet, strong wifi, warm pool, very well equipped kitchen. There are great restaurants within a short walk or within a 15 minute drive, and we took advantage of their take-out meals. Downtown St. Pete is only about 40 minutes away, so we enjoyed a dolphin watching cruise on one of our days. I strongly recommend Sand Key Park, on the Gulf, just before the bridge to busy Clearwater Beach. Beautiful wide beach, lots of parking, and no crowds. We had one very cool day so we took advantage of the Botanical Gardens and Millennium Park, both less than 25 mintues away. We will definitely be back. ##### Eileen K. The view from the balcony and proximity to the beach is unreal. The sound of the ocean from the living room is like being on a cruise ship. A complaint would be that you have to drive about 30 minutes south to pick up the key. It seems like keyless entry/pin pad would make a lot more sense. Very clean, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need (although the blender has broken pieces and needs to be replaced.) Also providing more than two rolls of toilet paper and dishwasher pods would have been expected for the cost. Beach access is perfect and the pool area was quiet and very clean.
