J ai payé 1 chambre avec vue sur laplage et mer et a l arrivee j airecu 1 simple chambre avec vue piscine . Apres reclamation l hotel, n a pas reagi ni donné de motif= ils pratiquent le surbooking au profit des americains! La difference de prix est resté a ma charge, j attends toujours le remboursement!

Hôtel idéalement situé, avec piscine et accès direct à la plage. Tiki bar très accueillant avec excellent cocktails et bonne nourriture. Barman et barwoman très sympas. Chambres spacieuses et propres. Petit bémol, l'hôtel nécessite quelques travaux de maintenance, devient un peu vieux et l'air conditionné est bruyant. Pas mal de bons restaurants aux alentours.

Sympa malgré quelques petits désagréments
Hôtel très sympathique sur la plage sans prétention mais très convenable. Mériterait un peu de rénovation,Clim très bruyante,salle de bain un peu datée. Le Menage n’est fait que tous les 3 jours!!! Et la baie vitrée donnant sur la mer beaucoup moins souvent. Le tiki bar entre la piscine et la plage est sympa, la nourriture est bonne mais servie dans des boites… dommage! Mais nous reviendrons quand même, personnel agréable et hôtel idéalement situé pour un prix très correct

It’s not worth the money. Staff was rude when we came back from the beach with a cooler to the pool. As I was getting my 3 kiddos ready to go to the room this staff member came and said I’m tired and if you can’t take the cooler I’ll take it myself. And then the beds had a sticking metal which could have easily broken my leg.

The location is very good and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is an older property but it is clean and the service is top notch. Our refrigerator was not working properly and we had just gotten groceries for the week. They had someone come right up and replace it for us within the hour

We were very disappointed because we wanted a first floor room and we paid for it. When we got there they didn’t have one available and said we could have one in two days, we were staying there five days. In two days they said they still didn’t have a room and moved us to a second floor room. We liked the room better but it’s not what we wanted. After a few hours we realized the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. We called and a nice man came and worked on it for a while and hoping it was going to work better. . It didn’t and we were told to shut the drapes to keep the heat out. So for the last three days we had to keep drapes closed to try and stay cool. So much for ocean view having to keep the drapes closed. This was our third visit there and our last!!!

Room was very outdated, dark, and dirty. Stained carpet, stained lamp shades, stained shower, and wasn’t even vacuumed. We checked in, walked into our room, and not even 2 minutes later we were going back to the car to get our money back.

From the photos of the room online it appeared that my beachfront room would have a great view of the Gulf of Mexico - however, they neglect to tell you that those rooms are at the bottom of a dune behind the cabana chairs so all I could see was blue and white striped chairs. Should haved chosen a room on a higher floor. But the room was large and clean and very comfortable! Had to stay after housekeeping to replace things like coffee and cups but overall a wonderful trip!!

We had an awesome view of the beach from our room. There were so many amenities from having a private beach with cabanas with no extra charge. The beach bar was great with live music and bingo. The food was excellent at the restaurant. The staff was friendly and the maids took great care of our room. Not to mention the convenience of having a Publix across the street. Dolphin Beach Resort is where we will always stay when visiting St Pete's.

I've stayed here many times and it's fine...not great, just OK. It's right on the beach and we always get a beach front room which is great. Since the new owners took over, it's a little updated and cleaner than in years past and the bar staff and front desk staff were fine. The problem I had was that on Sunday (mothers day), I felt like I was in a third world country. There were a dozen unruly kids with no parents in sight...throwing things in and around the pool, wrestling and throwing each other in the pool, non stop screaming and nobody speaking English. There was a great band playing by the bar and you could hear them throughout the pool area until an inconsiderate family decided to play music from south of the border drowning out the sound of the band. Here's the issue...not one staff member was in sight the whole afternoon to settle down the wild indians or to get things in order for the people who wanted to relax by the pool. We had to go inside. I think that was the last time we'll be staying there...maybe a better quality hotel like the Bellweather or the Don gets our business next time.

There was mold everywhere. The resort if from 1970 and they slapped a coat of paint on everything. Housekeeping stopped daily, but forgot to replenish soaps, towels, coffee. They only made the bed once and Never cleaned the floor.

The view from our room was amazing and it’s clearly what I paid for. The rooms really could use a good facelift. I also felt like the hallways were very dark which made it difficult to see while walking to our room. The pool area was very nice as well as the cabanas on the beach that are reserved for guests.

Loved the access to the beach. Live music at the pool and Karaoke and Beach Bingo. Two great restaurants and their breakfast was great food and nice views sitting outdoors. Main complaint is that my TV didn’t work my entire trip. An engineer came up at 9pm on my last night and had to reset it. Took about 15 minutes. I mentioned this to the front desk upon my arrival and my last night. It would have been nice to get some amount of credit.

i was not aware of the high extra fees....i would of liked to know about resort fees, and stuff...the Expedia site made me think they had a Continentale ...they dont....its ok for the price in general though....not great

Location was only thing good about it. Rooms are disgusting the vents were black ceilings were leaking and the bathroom was full of rust. We had a patio room and people were banging on our patio door trying to get in all night. Had to leave early because the weather closed the pool and ocean and didn’t get a refund. Think my two year old got sick from the room because of mold. I Will not stay there again.
