Weekend Get Away
Had a wonderful weekend get away in St. Charlies. The house was so close to main street, but far enough away not to hear the noise. The house had everything and more! The water and snacks were a nice touch. Everything was very clean. Would stay here again.

The Guest House Company
Everything was as advertised. A couple of things would be an improvement. Hooks and closet space. The downstairs, below ground bedroom has a lot of stairs to go up and down to the bathroom. There is no hook or closet space at all for that bedroom and we were there for a wedding. We had to unload the baby equipment just to get a foot of space to hang up suits and long dresses. If you don't need closet space-this will be perfect for a family. The people are very nice and attentive to requests. We would recommend the location. Very walkable... to Grandma's Cookies!

Great location
This was a great location. The only suggestions I have are a bigger trash can in the kitchen and some slip resistant stair treads on the 2 small steps from the master room. It would make them not so slippery and easier to see. Two people in our group fell on these stairs. One because them slipped in their sock feet and the other because they missed the step in the dark.

Quiet and Quaint
This home sits at the end of a quiet street with a walking path to the historic shopping area. We did not have extra time to truly visit the area but it looked cute. We found the home clean, quiet, and comfy.

Perfect Location!
The home is right behind Main Street making it the perfect location for everything there. Easy walking access to shopping, food and events. The home was just as described and shown in pictures; beautiful! It was clean and loved that both bathrooms were always accessible without going into a bedroom. That’s perfect for a group! We would love to stay in the home again or one of the others available with the Cottage Group; you’ve got us hooked! Thank you for being easy and quick in any communication.

Beautifully decorated, clean and wonderful location!
We had a wonderful time. The place was super clean. the decorating was awesome! Everything you would need was there. The location is incredible! SOOOO close to restaurants and things to do. Literally a 1 minute walk. Also, close enough to St Louis! About 25 minutes. We kept reading how St Louis can be not as safe and St Charles was such a safe place to stay! If you are considering staying here book it now! You will be so happy you did!

St Charles guest house
This was within walking distance to everything downtown St Charles had to offer. There is a trolley on the weekends that will drive you to other attractions and gives info on the towns history. We stayed 4th July weekend and could see the fireworks perfect from the sitting area outside. The house was very clean and had all the accommodations we needed. We will definitely be back.

My family and I stayed here this past week. The house was awesome! The kids had a blast with all the games and my wife was super happy with how close the house was to the Main Street. We had an awesome time here and hope to be able to return again.

Beautiful home in a great location
The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Being located so close to the shops, restaurants, and historic sites made it very easy for us to make the most of our time in St. Charles. The game room was a big hit with our 11-year-old grandson. We would definitely recommend this rental and hope to be able to stay there again in the future.

The property was in a great location to downtown, we were able to enjoy the area each day just by a short walk. The St. Louis area was only about a 30min drive which was convenient as well. The house was very relaxing and provided a nice home for the week. We would definitely recommend this house to others for a wonderful experience in St. Charles, MO.

Graduation Celebration!
We had a wonderful time staying in this adorable home! Our youngest, age 12, loved playing with the wooden pinball game and then hopping over to the mini NES. Our graduate, age 18, as well as our parents ages 60-75 loved walking along the river, shopping in the historic district, and of course eating at the fantastic restaurants. The home was so comfy and the decor was beautiful. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return the next time we visit St. Louis.

The Guest House is beautiful and well taken care of.Close to Main Street with shops ,restaurants and a park.Casino is right down the road.We appreciated the snacks and coffee k cups and the binder with info of the town and restaurants. Beds for at least 7 guests.Beds were comfortable.The bed in the nook in living room and king bed down stairs are too high .Would be great if there were steps that could be built to make it easier for people to get in these beds.The shower on the main floor is awesome!!

This was a FABULOUS place for our large family—Mom, Dad, and 6 kids ages 8-19. Our younger kids (and Dad) had a blast in the game room. We all appreciated the clever design and charm of this home. Our oldest daughter particularly enjoyed the cozy sleeping nook downstairs. We have stayed at The Main Street Guest House (owned by the same hosts) before, and it was also top notch. Historic St. Charles is our favorite place to explore, but we also ventured into St. Louis to City Museum. The kitchen is well stocked. There’s even a crock pot, plus a variety of snacks and k-cups. One thing to note: if you have very young kids, you might consider bringing a few plastic plates and cups from home. The dishes are lovely but breakable.

What a beautiful quaint little place.
This place we stayed is right on Main St., Saint Charles. It is close to dining shopping and the owners did such a great job on this property. Would highly recommend anybody looking to stay close to Main St., Saint Charles to look at this place. It is very well worth it.

This house is the Perfect place to stay for a trip to St. Louis. The game room was a saver for a rainy night. Plenty of toys for kids off all ages. The hosts are very generous with bottles of water in the fridge and a nice array of k cups and snacks.

Where to start. The game room was a hit by all! Our oldest who is 11 could not make up her mind as to which nook to sleep in. The 2 and three-year-olds loved sleeping down in the king-size bed with their GiGi. The extras that they add are a great surprise. You can tell they put their heart and soul into the rehab. Quick Family Getaway
My daughter and I came to Saint Charles last summer for a couple of days of shopping and loved the Main St area. Decided to come back again this year and bring the rest of the family. Stayed in a little apartment last year but found this house for this years visit and everyone absolutely loved it! Plenty of space for everyone and the game room was a lot of fun for all of us. Perfect location to walk to anything and everything on Main Street. House is beautiful and the master bedroom is really unique and comfortable!

Impeccably clean house! Enough to sleep all 6 adults comfortably. Understand during the nation's heat wave, this 1900 year old home still put out excellent a/c, except upstairs bedrooms, but this makes sense. Good thing the owners put 4 fans upstairs to cool it down:) Location was excellent for shopping the historical St. Charles District, eating, gambling, coffee shops and much more. Thanks for making it so clean and comfy. Oh, the laundry soap/dishwasher soap/liquid really made our trip even more sweeter. And the snack basket was amazing, we arrived late due to canceled flights and understaffed rental car at the airport, the snacks made our day. Thank you!!!!

Myself and 3 friends spent 2 nights at the St. Charles Guest House for an annual girls’ trip. Prior to arriving, the hosts were always responsive to my questions and provided great information. This property was the perfect location for a short sisters' getaway. We were close to the Main Street area but also had the privacy we wanted. Spring Getaway in St Charles
What a cool place to stay! Enjoyed the comfort of cabin-like living and was located right off the historic Katy Trail. Eazy walk to all the souvenir shops and restaurants. Didn’t take the kiddos this trip, but will certainly bring them along next time to experience the game room which would entertain for hours.

Perfect property for our Family and In-Laws
When we arrived at this property we were very happy with the location, perfect quiet commy and also walking distance from main street in St. Charles. As we walked into the game room my kids were so excited to see all the games and shuffle board table, we could also smell the fresh sent of a clean space. We were very happy to have so much room in this house, my husband and I had the lower bedroom, my daughter had her own bedroom, my in-laws had their own room and my son had his space as well... perfect for relaxing and settling down after our busy days. This property of close enough to St. Louis that you can go and do fun tourist stuff like the science center and Zoo, yet far enough away from St. Louis that it has that safe hometown feel...which is really important to us when traveling why our kids. We LOVED our stay and when we are in the area again we will be looking up this rental or another property owned by these amazing hosts! Also wherever we had a question Audrey and Matt would get right back to us! We could not be happier with this property.
