We are on 'The Hill', our city's historic Italian neighborhood, which means you can walk to great restaurants and neighborhood bars, or cook your own fabulous recipes in the fully stocked kitchen and stainless steel appliances. Near Forest Park, Barnes/Jewish/Children's Hospitals, WashU & downtown. We are also close to the Botanical Gardens, our amazing zoo (which is FREE!!), Busch Stadium, the historic Soulard area, and many new microbrew houses. We are on 'The Hill', our city's historic Italian neighborhood, which means you can walk to great restaurants and neighborhood bars, or cook your own fabulous recipes in the fully stocked kitchen and stainless steel appliances. Went down to the arch, botanical gardens and Union station area. So fun! Neighborhood, place was great. Street parking was close and felt safe. We experienced a power outage for half of our stay due to a storm. They provided one small flashlight and didn’t really check in with us. While we understand this was not the owners fault, we asked for a discount as our stay was disrupted not being able to make dinner or use the fridge for milk for our infant daughter. It was super clean (minus a couple spots on furniture), in a great location, and very charming. Our only issue was that we were convinced that someone was running a marathon upstairs and you could hear every single step...at 5 am.
