one night in St. Louis
we spent one night in St. louis area on our road trip to Chicago. The hotel appears new, nicely decorated, everything was clean and worked well. Lighting in the room was way above average. most hotel rooms are dim. we didn’t have time to eat the free breakfast. the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. there’s plenty of free parking and free wifi worked well.

Incidental charge beware!
First thing is first….. I booked through Expedia, and was given a 150$ incidental charge when I checked in on top of the nightly room rate which was completely unexpected and was not on the website under additional charges. The hotel is extremely nice, and very new. However, the beds are extremely firm and has little to no give. I have major back issues and this did not work well for me. So if you’re looking for a softer bed. Look elsewhere. Other than that, we have no complaints

Stayed here one night for the Metallica concert. Pros: clean, new hotel. Free fountain soda in main lobby. Bathroom was beautiful. Hotel was quiet. I had to print my parking pass for the concert and they even had a computer and printer for guests to use. Safe area, plenty of options for food, etc. Cons: mattress is a hard memory foam. Zero water pressure in the shower and took forever to get clean. $150 incidental deposit required, which was NOT on the booking description so if you're traveling on a budget, be warned!

Clean, comfortable and convenient
This was a cute little hotel, just right for an overnight between New Orleans and Minnesota on our way home. Evening desk clerk Thursday evening (missed his name) was friendly helpful and welcoming, and helped us get a small cup of milk so my wife could take some medicine. If we use St. Louis as a halfway point, we would stop here again.

The hotel is in a great location. Near the highway and lots of shopping and food options. The room was clean, but floors felt a little sticky in the room and corners/legs are furniture had dust, dirt, and some hair around them on the floor (main area of room as well as bathroom).

This is a new hotel and everything is very nice except for one thing. They have some sort of strange Amazon Fire-based TV streaming service instead of the more conventional cable or Direct TV or similar offerings like most other hotels of this type. This TV service has about 1000 junk channel offerings and a bunch of pay-TV options. If you like to settle in and watch a decent movie after a long day on the road, you probably will be disappointed. They really should get a better TV service.

The property is excellent with the exception of sound proofing. Every word spoken in adjoining rooms, the tv, toilet, even snoring can be heard from adjoining rooms. Different occupants each night, so not the occupants. Everything else was great but I can’t stay there again because of the paper thin walls.

Don’t get stranded here!
We had car trouble during our stay and so wanted to rent a room for another night. The front desk people were not very helpful and we had to request clean towels for the last (third) night of our stay. We used the on-site laundry, but the dryer was terrible and took 3 hours to dry our clothes, which were just regular cottons and polyesters.
