Rhoda's Place apartment is a spacious homey space which features a private backyard; a gift to enjoy during the warmer months. Here we are just footsteps from some of the best restaurants and nightlife that St. John's has to offer. Interestingly, the upstairs apartment of this triplex was featured in the movie the Grand Seduction, filmed here in Newfoundland and Labrador, as one of the character's homes; and for the last photo here, we have included a still shot of actor Brendan Gleeson right outside the front door of this sweet space.
The neighborhood is up and coming with many other short-term rentals in the area. The downtown area is rich with St. John's originality in the people, places and experiences you will come across on your journey here. Legendary restaurants like Basho Restaurant and Lounge (Japanese/ Sushi), The Duke of Duckworth (British Pub) and Oliver's Restaurant (Canadian Seafood) are among the many food options you have, many within an easy walk, but bring the right shoes! There are hills to climb in the city core and around Signal Hill and the Cabot Trail areas.

If you happen to have more than one car and it's the weekend, no parking pass is required. Feel free to park additional vehicles without any hassle.
