A spectacular setting! One of the best around to enjoy outstanding views and the gentle island breezes and some of the best stargazing on the island! Drive up to a no stair entrance and master first floor living. The main level living room boasts 30 Ft. high gorgeous vaulted Cypress ceiling. The open concept living area has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining table for 6, books to read, games for the family, and strong internet for the remote workers in your group. All TVs are streaming only (Netflix, Youtube, etc). There is not good cable on the island so we dont have cable. The main floor has the master bedroom which has a king bed, a smart TV, private door to the porch and hot tub, and private door to the main floor full bath. This is the bedroom that accommodates a no stairs vacation. This bathroom also is accessible from the living room, has two vanities and a shower that has no ceiling so you can privately shower under the stars. Upstairs has two loft style bedrooms. One is larger and has a king bed that can be separated to make two twin beds. The other has a queen bed and an ocean view. Going down the spiral stairs from the main level to the lower level. Here there is a second bathroom with a full shower, the laundry area, and various beach equipment for you to use. The house was built on an angle with the island breeze in mind so feel free to open the house up and enjoy the breeze. You will be happily surprised. Should you prefer AC, there are AC units in the living room, master bedroom, and upstairs lofts. The 40' x 12' porch has a 6 person whirlpool spa Hot Tub for relaxing after a wonderful day out, a dining table perfect for enjoying meals while listening to the surf, rocking and lounge chairs. Listing incorrectly says pool, it is referring to the Hot Tub. There is not a pool, there is a Hot Tub. To get here you will fly into St Thomas Cyril E. King Airport (STT), from there you take a taxi or shuttle bus located just out the baggage claim doors. They only take cash. It is a 10 minute ride to the Crown Bay People Ferry operated by Inter Island Boat Service. The ferry is a beautiful 45 minute ride over to St John Cruz Bay. Alternatively you could take a 45 minute taxi/shuttle ride to Red Hook Ferry or Red Hook Car Barge. It is a 10-15 minute ferry/barge ride to St John. Please google for ferry times and rates. Our wonderful property managers will meet you as you arrive on St John and help you navigate to the house, store, jeep rental, etc. Once at the house, she will go over the workings of the house and answer any questions you may have. We supply amenities like shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, towels, etc. A full list will be sent once you book or upon request. There are taxis on the island but please make sure to ask for their schedule as it changes from day to day. You can rent a Jeep on St John or St Thomas. Jeep or SUVs are recommended over sedans due to the roads. We recommend you reserve your Jeep well in advance of your trip. If you are renting a Jeep on St Thomas to bring to St John, you will need cash for the port authority and for the barge ride. SUV rentals are usually best to secure right away as there can be vehicle shortages, check their cancellation policies. For best prices, it is our recommendation to buy flights 6 months out or more. The property is not shared with other parties. We do not accept toddlers. We do our best to keep everything perfect. Should something not be, we do our best to correct it asap. There are no discounts if non-working items happen. Our refund policy is attached to this page via a link. There are no discounts/refunds for acts of God. Beds were comfortable and hot tub was really nice! There was a nice big driveway and it was great to have beach towels and chairs provided. The only troubles we had were: Difficulty with checking in. The property manager was juggling a bunch of houses so couldn’t meet us until 5pm even though we were ready closer to 3:30pm. We also had a tough time finding the house as there isn’t really an address and the property manager was busy so she couldn’t meet us and have us follow her. Also, the wi-fi wasn’t working for the first few days. The property manager allowed my husband to come to her office on Tuesday since he couldn’t take his work call from the house. Overall, a great house, great location and a beautiful island. Thank you! ##### Deanna M. Location was good for everything we wanted to do on the island including hiking and beach exploration. Kristin was great to work with, especially when are flight was significantly delayed and the car ferry had stopped running. The hot tub was broken prior to our arrival and we were not made aware of this. The washing machine was also broken and we were told that upon arrival. Both remained broken the duration of our stay. The house was challenging to find, as the location pin provided was 2 tenths of a mile from the house. The lockbox didn’t work. No instructions were provided on how to turn on outside lighting - deck light switch is hidden behind the tv. Communication could have been better. People entered the home while we were out without any courtesy notice to us.The host and property manager are friendly and the house otherwise is as indicated in the listing. Views are pretty, we just wish the amenities were functional as they were the main reason we chose the home. ##### Erica Y. Hot tub on the balcony was a great way to end the day after the beach. Roads leading to house are a bit steep but so is much of St. John! We are a family of 4, with a young adult and 10 yr old. We all loved this house. It is open, airy and has a beautiful view of Fish Bay. We spent every morning and evening on the deck, enjoying the breeze and views. It was a quiet neighborhood, but only 10 minutes from Cruz Bay and Starfish market. The hot tub is great, beds were very comfy and AC perfect level. All the amenities worked well, and Kristen \[our check in guide\] was knowledgeable and shared many helpful tips as it was our 1st time to the island. The home was perfectly clean, plenty of towels and beach gear. The checkin process was OK, we had to coordinate with Kristen to meet up on the island, which worked out, but there are places we had issues with cell service so its best to have someone in your party have Verizon- our daughter has Verizon and she had signal nearly everywhere, we have Mint and didn't have signal at times. The drive up is intense at first, but Kristen will guide you thru it. Our vacation was amazing, and this home was a huge reason why! The views were unimaginably beautiful and expansive. We don’t hours on the balcony with our kids, staring at the hillside and harbor below. We all had our own bedrooms, but given the loft, felt like we were still together. Beautiful property with gorgeous views of the bay and sunrise over the hillside. More than enough space to relax for a group of 6 after a full day of adventures. Convenient location near Cruz Bay with easy accessibility compared to most homes on the island. High winds while we were there but that helped keep the mosquitos away while stargazing at night. The house looks exactly like the pictures - incredible view, clean, and has everything you’ll need for a great vacation (lots of bath and beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, well-stocked kitchen, bathroom toiletries, etc.). We loved sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee and our kids loved sitting in the hot tub in the evenings. The whole property feels very private. The property manager, Kristen, was amazing. She showed us around the house when we arrived and gave us several helpful tips for navigating the island, everything from how the locals drive to grocery stores. Séjour de 5 nuits en mars 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Lea S. 17 mars 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Beautiful view, convenient location This is a beautiful spot overlooking Fish Bay and easy to get to as it's right on the main road before you dip into the bay and you don't have to take any crazy arterial switchbacks to get to the house. Parking is easy as the driveway is flat and large for easy turnarounds. The kitchen is great and well stocked. They leave condiments and other food stuff from prior guests which is convenient considering the high costs of groceries. One thing that was tough about the layout of the house is that the upstairs bedrooms are true loft style with incomplete walls and sliding barn doors. This provides very little privacy and if someone wants to go to bed early but other people in your party are up you cant close yourself off unless you're in the primary bedroom. The metal staircase was also rough on our barefeet after a few days - we wished we had brought house slippers! Also, they had incomplete tile work outside where multiple members of our party stubbed a toe or tripped because of the uneven spots and edges. ##### Lea S. We were glad to have a rental car as we explored much of the island. We appreciated having beach chairs, a cooler and beach towels to use and we made use of one snorkeling set as well. We liked having a grill and a nice kitchen stocked well with dishes, pots and pans, spices, etc. The prompt response and accessibility of the property manager was wonderful. ##### Kathy W.
