Their homemade granola alone is worth the trip. They bake it for six hours and add dates, apricots, and figs. The hillside view over the bay is spectacular. Our breakfast was interrupted by a cry of "dolphins!" as everyone rushed to the deck to the watch a pod cavorting in front of us. The desk provides guests with the owner's spot-on picks for best restaurants in the area and best sights. The hotel is convenient, too. Just below the hotel is a stop for the quick train trip into St. Ives. So etwas findet man in Cornwall sicherlich nicht so oft. Wir haben kaum jemals ein Hotel erlebt, in dem die Gäste so im Vordergrund stehen und zuvorkommend verwöhnt werden. Wunderbarer Ausblick und auch parken kann man im Hpf sehr gut. Mit der 200 m entfernt gelegenen kleinen Bahn kann man innerhalb von 10 Minuten für 2 € sehr schnell und bequem an der Küste entlang nach St. Ives fahren. Einen kleinen Wermutstropfen gibt es jedoch: unser Doppelbett war nur 1,40 m breit und das ist für uns alles andere als ausreichend gewesen. The property is beautiful., and has an outdoor terrace (with bar and food service) on the back overlooking the bay. Service was top-notch. The breakfast was fantastic. It's about a 40-minute walk (with a fair bit of climing and descending going each way) to St. Ives, but we needed it to work off the breakfast. The staff are all fabulous and so helpful. Breakfast was really good and it is so nice to sit outside on the comfy sofas watching the sun go down. You can walk to restaurants or catch the train (5 min walk) into St Ives.
