Our family had a fabulous stay - The house was very clean, stocked to cook every evening, short walk to the beach, having cornhole and a private pool was a bonus to enjoy after the day at the beach! The town was very cute and had lots to offer - Sugar Kingdom, donuts, arcade, BJ’s Pizza, Blue Parrott, and touristy shops were fun to visit - especially on the one rainy day we had. The Piggly Wiggly Xpress had any last minute things we needed but I recommend doing most of your grocery shopping before getting on the main island! Being close to the ocean (you can see it from the deck, across a not busy street, not the main island road) AND having a lovely pool was so great. We did have to pay for pool heat as the water was not comfortably warm enough for the adults. The kitchen was well appointed but could use more teaspoons of all things! Having 4 bathrooms seemed a luxury but was very nice. And we enjoyed the ping pong table, corn hole and pool/beach toys that were under the house. The large deck was a good gathering spot and useful for drying out wet gear. It was nice to have some space around the house and even nearby construction was not too bothersome. De La Sol is a beautiful house! It had everything we needed. We're a family of five and had plenty of room. The pool was great. Loved the covered porch with comfy chairs, outdoor dining and beach view. The laundry room had a full-sized washer/dryer located inside the house. De La Sol is located in a quiet residential area with plenty of space for pets. Short walk to the beach. Chairs, a beach cart, beach towels and pool/beach toys were provided. We used the gas grill multiple times; but there's also a charcoal grill provided. There's a nice walking/biking path in front of the house. The management team was great to work with and responded quickly to questions. We've stayed on St George Island many times and this was our favorite house. We miss it already! ##### Diane S. I was a little worried having one living area wouldn't be big enough for us but it is much larger than the pictures show. The kitchen is large and has lots of cookware. The decorations are just adorable and the bathrooms are big and nice. Beds are comfortable and they provide plenty of towels and blankets. Love the deck off the back. Has a good view of the ocean even though it is across the street from the beach. Lots of sand castle making equipment and beach toys and chairs, even has a cart to lug stuff to the beach! The house is gorgeous and very tastefully decorated. Kitchen is fully stocked and pristine. You will not find a better pool - large, clean and plenty of lounge chairs and pool toys.
