The exterior of this home offers a sparkling pool (heated for a fee) on the bay front; an outdoor shower, a fish cleaning area, and a park-style grill for your fresh catch. The fenced-in pool deck offers both shaded spaces to relax and visit or a sun deck where you can grab your Florida tan. An exterior staircase connects the ground level and pool deck to all the exterior decks of the home. The first floor offers the main bedroom with a TV, direct access to the covered deck with rocking chairs, and a full bathroom. The second bedroom also enjoys direct access to the covered deck. The third twin bedroom has a TV. A shared full bathroom is provided along with a convenient laundry room with a washer/dryer. The second floor offers gorgeous, sweeping views of the bay from an open living/dining/kitchen floor plan with three sets of French doors to the covered deck. Cozy up in the comfortable living room and enjoy the wood-burning fireplace in the winter. A TV provides entertainment for your crew and the comfy sofa converts to a queen sleeper. There a lot of stairs but the payoff is a wonderful view off the back of the house. The multi story deck/porch is a plus for watching the water for long stretches at a time. They have screened in some of the porch as well, which made outdoor sitting pleasant. The house is appointed with bright and cheery beach decor. It’s not super fancy but very clean and well appointed. We had some issues with the toilets but Vacasa and island staff responded promptly even after hours and were very friendly as they worked to fix the problem. We also very much enjoyed the pool area and the ability to be under the house and in the shade while at the pool. The views were incredible. It's important to note that this house is a few blocks beyond the permissible golf cart routes on the island which is unfortunate, something I believe the SGI local officials should address (no reason the bike/running path couldn't be dual use for golf carts (in the daylight). That isn't related specifically to the house though. A couple of other items that would be of interest to future guests that we weren't able to find prior to visiting in the reviews. There is a coffee pot that makes drip or keurig pod coffee. Also, there is a blender in the cabinet. The other kitchen amenities are fine, not over the top, but basics to get you by for a week or so. There is no beach equipment nor paddle boards/kayaks with the house. The beach equipment credit we received from Vacasa went to good use on chairs and a tent (very high quality). If we returned to SGI for a vacation we would stay at this place again, it fit our families needs very well. ##### Bill B.
