Welcome to "Tanner Shores!"

This CHARMING and COMFORTABLE beach bungalow features a large open living and dining concept for great family gatherings, a spacious kitchen with ample counter space for meal prepping and three bedrooms. The Master suite is a King with tub and shower combo off of the living room. The 2nd bedroom features 2 twin beds and the 3rd bedroom, a Queen. Multiple flat panel smart TV's with NETFLIX capability, help add to your family enjoyment indoors! We also invite you to enjoy our fabulous outdoor area around the private pool. There is even a small kiddie pool which spills over into the main pool. Sorry the pool is not jetted or heated at this time. There is a gas grill (Blackstone) located in the laundry room below for your use. The other two doors to your adjacent right are not for guest use please do not try to open. Please remember to clean and place back after your stay for the next guest! If striking out to the beach is your forte, you are only 2 blocks from the 10th street walk over and you can be there in less than 10 minutes. You can see the walk over from the drive! For those evening sunset walks, try the access on Pine through State protected property to access the white sand beach on the Bay located one block West on the corner of 9th street and Pine.

We supply an initial supply of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom with bathroom can liners. In the kitchen we will leave one roll of paper towels, a kitchen sponge with 3 to 4 dish towels, several kitchen trash can liners as well as a jar of Finish dishwasher tabs and a liquid Palmolive or Dawn dishwashing soap for your convenience. Coffee filters for the regular coffee maker are also supplied.

Upon Arrival...our surveillance cameras go off for your privacy! Also please note that when you drive into the carport, the door facing you is the laundry room, NOT the entry door to the house. Go through the lattice gate on your left and follow the steps to the front (Bayside) entryway. The lift is NOT available for guest use, we apologize. Please do NOT tamper with the pool timers or valves under the porch, should you have an issue with the pool being low or requiring service, please call the property manager for assistance. Our manager, Sammy Thompson, Coastal Property Management can be reached at 850.323.0907.

This property was beautiful! And awesome to stay at! I only have one complaint and that’s the water pressure in the showers. But over all it was an awesome stay!

This property was a perfect retreat for our family! We loved the pool so much and used it a lot due to the weather being less than perfect the first part of the week. Home was clean and wonderfully furnished with everything we needed. Host was very communicative and answered any questions we had! Would love to visit Tanner Shores again in the future!!

This was not my first time to say at Tanner Shores and hopefully not my last. I love the location and the privacy. The house is nestles in palm trees and has a privacy fence around the pool area. It is only a short walk to the beach and a lot of beach accessories are included. This home really has everything I love and need for the week. It has been my go to house in SGI!. Thanks for having me!

The property was clean. The beds were confortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with both types of coffee makers, toaster, and eveb s wafgle iron. The pool was enjoyable and the beach was within essy walking distance. The owners even supplied a vatiety of pool and beach toys includin a beach wagon which was appreciated. The covered porch overlooked the bay through 9ne set if houses. The only negative was a that in order to operate a ceiling fan in the queen bedroom, the outside pool lights also stayed on (same switch) that resulted in bugs suiciding into the pool at night. Easily cleaned in the morning. We did appreciate the bug spray system around the pool. Overall, a great time by all and 5 stars. Just what we were looking for.

Loved everything about Tanner Shores. So peaceful and relaxing. Much needed. Some family didn’t get to come so we had plenty of room. Spacious kitchen. We’ll equipped. Loved the screened in porch most of all! walk to beach was a hop and a skip! Much needed exercise. Already talking about staying there again. Hated to leave , 2weeks was not enough! But my home was calling!!!

It is a great property especially if you have fur babies . The house is set up perfect with outdoor fencing to keep the dogs safe and secure . Very clean home and beautiful pool area . Perfect !

This home was great for a family with young children. We appreciated a single floor layout after 3 floors in our rental last year. The pool was great. The kitchen was very well stocked with quality cookware, which surprised us! It was an easy short 2 blocks to the beach. The screened porch was wonderful, as well. Highly recommended home on the island!

This is Our 4th time to SGI since 2019 and Our 4th time staying at TANNER SHORES. This place just seems like home for Us even if it is only for a week. Marla is such a GREAT Owner and is always available should we need anything. The house is more than adequately equipped with anything You may need. Laundry on site is a HUGE plus. There is also a fenced in back yard for Our 2 Fur-kids to explore as they like. But by far is the POOL. Always clean and refreshing. "If floating in a pool was and olympic sport, I definitely would be a contender for a medal. ;-)'s." If You are looking for the perfect spot on SGI don't look any further. TANNER SHORES is Your choice. Trust me. Thank You Marla, we LOVED Our stay!!!

Marla, you have been amazing to work with. You were prompt to respond to questions and provided a lovely stay! This property is spacious, private and close to the bay and beach! We loved the fenced pool and our dogs loved the fenced yard. We will definitely be renting Tanner Shores again!

This was our third stay at Tanner Shores. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The 3 br/2ba cottage could sleep at least six people. We LOVED the pool and, the screened porch. The Cicadas were a pleasant choir of relaxtion. It is just a 2 block walk to the beach where we and the PUPS played in the surf everyday. Also, it is just a few steps from the serene bay that provides other opportunities to explore. There is laundry room on the property which is adequately equipped. Just bring You washing detergent. There are plenty of food and retail places that are dog friendly. We took an excursion by boat to Bob Sike Cut which is a GREAT place for fishing and siteseeing. Little St. George Island is a gorgeous place. We recommend Hook'em All Charters. Island View Seafood is also one of the BEST Seafood Shops in the area. A HUGE THANK YOU to Marla Tanner for this charming cottage that packs a HUGE PUNCH for a very reasonable price. See You next year, Marla 🙂🙂🙂's.

This is the most amazing property. Just a short walk to the beach and the pool was awesome. It is a wonderful place to bring your dogs with the separate fenced area for them. The owner was extremely responsive to our needs and even gave us wonderful guidance with a tropical storm coming our way. This place felt like home for us! The kitchen was fully stocked and even had a crockpot available.
