It's fairly visible from town, set against the red rocks, so the kids had fun pointing put the "Christmas house" whenever we were out. The hosts were gracious and accommodating. The house was so impressive that two of the guys attending drove around the camping trailer park below because they didn't think our group would be staying in such a beautiful place. I spoke on the phone with the hostess Angela who was so gracious. During our conversation, she informed me that the rodeo was in town and tickets were still available if our group would be interested, and per her recommendation we attended and had a great time. Text messages from all the guys after leaving the house all mentioned how beautiful the house, and its location, were. Sleeping accommodations and amenities were absolutely spectacular for everyone of us. "Thank You Angela", for the many wonderful memories you've afforded our USMC, 1st Battalion 8th Marine Reunion Group this year. For 3 of the Marines attending this year, it was the first time in 37 years since they'd seen anyone from our old platoon. And because we attended the Rodeo event upon your suggestion, we now have two guys returning home that can forever say "This isn't my first Rodeo"!!
