Enjoy the unmatchable variety of activities during the day and return for a swim in the large private pool, enjoy games in the gameroom, a kayak adventure or soak in the hot tub by sunset to relax the nights away. Perfect vacation found at Reel Treasure St Augustine! Canal front, private pool, spa & outdoor oasis complete with seating areas under decks and palms, kayaks, bikes, fishing and game room all within a short walk, drive or bike ride to the beach. Situated for stunning sunsets nightly. As private owners. our goal is to give our guests exactly what we want for our own personal guests and family, a home away to forge lasting memories with your loved ones. We strive to and truly enjoy providing a space where you can relax, unwind and make the most out of your precious vacation time. Our community has a private beach access within walking/biking distance (.3 miles) or you can drive on the beach and pick your spot. Cooking is wonderful in our fully updated kitchen or enjoy many of the wonderful local restaurants of the area. Enjoy watching beautiful sunsets on either of two decks or while relaxing in the hot tub while being on one of the very few canals in St Augustine. Our home is a wonderful place for a family vacation. Where you will sleep: Bedroom 1: King Bed, 1st floor, full bathroom just outside of bedroom, private door to deck by pool and outdoor oasis. Bedroom 2: King Bed, 2nd floor with full ensuite bathroom and private deck sitting area overlooking pool and canal. Bedroom 3: Queen Bed, 2nd floor, full bathroom in hallway shared with bedroom 4\. Bedroom 4: Queen Bed, 2nd floor, full bathroom in hallway shared with bedroom 3\. We love families and our home is wonderful for families with older children with all the great amenities inside as well as right outside the front and back doors. However It is not optimal for families with young children as it is not childproofed and the pool and canal are right outside the back door. Please contact us through an inquiry or an email to discuss whether or not Reel Treasure will be a good fit for your family before requesting to book. Please review all requirements in house rules and expectations before booking. No Extra Guests on Property: For insurance purposes, only guests on the reservation are permitted on the property at any time unless prior approval is given and names added to reservation. Immediate cancellation without refund for not adhering to this policy. We take this very seriously for your safety, our neighbors' comfort and safety, and insurance purposes. Dogs: On a case by case basis, we allow up to two (2) dogs, from the same household, for an additional $100 cleaning fee PER DOG. Allowing dogs is at our discretion (size, breed, etc). Puppies under 12 months old are not permitted. Dogs cannot be left alone without a kennel and must always be with their human and on a leash at all times when outside. Dogs must be included in your booking request and registered at the time of your reservation and be included on the signed rental agreement. Guests with dogs will be required to agree to basic home pet care and good neighbor rules. Please ask to see these rules before booking if you would like to bring dogs. If dogs are not added to your initial reservation, you will need to add them, re-sign rental agreement and fee will be collected. Pool and Spa Heat: Although we do not charge a pool heating fee, we keep the pool heated to 85° in the cooler months and the spa at 102°. As with any property that has electric pool and spa heat, pool and spa temperatures can not be maintained or guaranteed if temperatures drop below 55°. \*We have instant booking turned on. Please read all rules before booking and make sure you are comfortable. If you have any questions about anything in our listing, please feel free to submit an inquiry to get those answered before booking \* Cancellation Policy: Please review our cancellation policy as our calendar will be blocked once you make your reservation and as individual owners, we cannot afford to refund outside of our policy. \*\*\* Hurricane season is June-November every year. We especially encourage purchasing travel insurance for your trip if your reservation falls within these dates as we can only refund if there is an official, mandatory evacuation (not a state of emergency) called for the island. \*\*\* Required within 24 hrs of booking: Signed rental agreement, $1500 refundable damage deposit, Photo Id (state issued driver’s license of primary renter, complete names of all adults on reservation, totaling no more than 8 people including any children all to be completed within 24 hours of reservation. Spectacular home with everything a family and/or friends would need to have a memorable vacation. It has a pool, a hot tub, and it's on a canal that leads to the intercostal, with a dock if you have a boat. It's a short walk to the beach with a walkway dedicated to the neighborhood. Their home is beautiful and clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find many items were provided (tissues, facial cosmetic wipes, shampoo and conditioner and body wash, paper towels) that we have not found in other VRBO homes. The pool area has a variety of sitting areas where we were able to enjoy the sunshine and also escape from the sun when needed. The pool was clean and refreshing. The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults. Exceptionally clean and very well stocked with everything you need and more. You will especially enjoy the kitchen. The thought and attention to detail in furnishings and decor both inside and out was exceptional. The pool and hot tub area was a delight where many of our hours were spent. Communication with the owners was easy, and their response when we reached out was immediate. Literally, just pack your suitcase and enjoy your stay. Not only was the house beautiful, clean and comfortable but it has everything you'll need. From the kitchen to the beach items available, they have it all. Canal for fishing/kayaking, pool for swimming, and a short walk to the beach. Ginny was available for questions all the way from booking until check out day. She was extremely helpful and has even put together a thorough guide that answers any questions you may have. Having the pool heated was so wonderful for our kids. The deck off the master bedrooms was such a great bonus, and when inside, the kids were kept busy in the game room. St. Augustine, as a town, is so wonderful with many great restaurants and lots of great history. Don't wait, just book and enjoy! You will not regret it. It's worth every penny! ##### kimberly S. We loved the first floor master for my parents with an accessible bathroom and my Dad was even able to go for a dip in the pool which he hasn’t done for ages. Also greatly appreciated were all the extra amenities for activities such as kayaks, paddle boards, bait buckets, pool floats, basketball hoop and balls. The outside covered porch was excellent for my mom who can’t do the sun. Other nice touches were the makeup remover wipes and Q tips and things of that nature that were added. This home is stocked with everything you need both inside and out. You have access to kayaks, bikes, fishing, and beach equipment. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We loved having three bathrooms which allowed everyone the space to get ready. Ginny goes above and beyond with communication and recommendations. She's easily reached if you need anything. Start your day at Ginny's favorite bait shop (also has beautiful sunset views), grab tacos at A1A Burrito Works, and do not miss daily walks to the beach via the private community access. ##### Kimberly C. There are many books and games available to use. Beautiful outdoor settings both upstairs and around the heated pool & spa which we really enjoyed. Although we didn’t have time to use all the extra recreation equipment, it was really nice to have it available. Aug 17, 2023 #### An Amazing Retreat Had another wonderful stay at Reel Treasure. This stay included a fully renovated pool and spa! The great photos of the property online cannot do justice to actually being there. It is located at the top end of a canal, with access to the Intercoastal Waterway via the canoes provided, and fishing right off the attached dock and supplied fishing gear. Reel Treasure feels like a resort with all the amenities of home. It is immaculately clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Close enough to many attractions and eating places, yet far enough for quiet and privacy. Ginny the host is the best. Always friendly and available by text or cell to answer questions, concerns, or provide suggestions on things to do or places to eat. This was a family get away after the holidays. Working in health care and retail during the holidays, Reel Treasure was the perfect medicine to rejuvenate! This house is beautiful and well stocked. Ginny is literally THE BEST. Her attention to detail was impressive and very much appreciated! I have been using VRBO for many many years for our family vacations. Ginny and this home was the best. Exploring St. Augustine was wonderful! We needed more time to soak in all the history. My daughter caught fish off the floating dock everyday. She liked fishing at the pier, but also enjoyed fishing at the house while the guys watched football and the baby slept:) Unfortunately, The weather was chilly, but the heated pool and hot tub were terrific! The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful. The beds are all comfortable. The game room is a work in progress. Love that idea! We played ping pong everyday. Restaurant choices were good. Oasis was this family’s favorite for the Po Boy sandwiches. Highly recommend staying at Reel Treasure! Nice neighborhood to walk and ride bikes.
